My impression:

1. Evan Tanner and Mask in the game. Not cool. Show some respect UFC.

Because I do not know much about alot of the people in UFC, why is this "not cool"? I understand that Evan Tanner is dead (I dont know who mask is) but is there more to his story that involved UFC somehow wronging him?

I didn't get the Free DVD when I went to Best Buy, I could only get the $10 certificate. Which sucked since I had my eyes on a PRIDE DVD.

In what sort @$$ backwards pessimists world do you live in where inclusion of Evan and Mask in the UFC videogame is considered disrespectful instead of commendable. They're honoring legendary figures in the sport by having their likenesses represented in the game. There's nothing disrespectful about that. I'm sure most Evan Tanner fans are thrilled to be able to fight with their favorite mixed martial artist despite his untimely passing.

In one word this game is AWESOME!

And to the guy complain about how is in the game and who isn't in the game. You have to get permission from them to put them in the game. Also, you may think Brock is overrated but, who are you to say what rating someone gets. I understand you may not like him or whatever but, come on man you can't dis the company who makes the game.

If someone is not in the game create them. You can make 100 guys. That's crazy for a video game.

Oh well I'm back to playing.

I went ahead and retired my fighter (but didnt save it) to see if everything resets, and it does, you have to restart everything

Minor annoyance, but I can deal with that.

The hour is growing near.

The first guy I'm going to create is that kid from the Ortiz/Shamrock show that talked all the smack about knocking guys out early and **** and got rocked in his fight and screamed that he's an UFC fighter. Figured I'd create him as I get my butt whipped while still adapting to the game.

I can't remember his name though. He was Hamill's butler for the entire show.

Is it easy to download those two UFC fighters from the EB games deal? I read the slip on the inside and it says you have to creat a silver account, or is there a eaiser way to get these guys?

I picked it up at lunch along with new Em cd. Cant wait until tonight!

You could use your own account, just go to the network and redeem the codes. PS3 BTW.

Haha, wow once you start fighting real UFC guys in career it's a bit of a shock since your stats suck and you get dominated pretty easily. Jardine just demolished me. He's lucky I mounted him towards the end of R1,

I think most of your question was answered with another post, but I will add to it. In career mode you have so many weeks to prepare for the next fight. You can train, which is auto or you can spar. Each event takes up a certain amount of time and energy and when you get to a certain point, you have to rest which also takes up time. After you fight a couple of fights, you can join a gym that is hosted by two real UFC fighters and specializes in what ever your fight set it. You spar during this and get points to level up to a higher skill set. Example: I am a Muay Tai and BJJ fighter and I am training in Anderson Silva's gym and he is teaching me a few things. I spar with this guy and recieve points for doing certain task that are identified before the spar. You can receive up to 70 points a session from what I remember and they go to your overall level for Muay Tai fighter. I am now at a level 3 but I am not sure what the top level is.

If I can ask one more question, I know you can have multiple careers at once, but can you have them going at the same time with each other?
So if I wanted to create 3 HW's, 2 LHW's and then 2 MW's, can I eventually have all of them at, or near the top so I might have to have my own created guys fight one another for a belt?

The career is fun so far - I was worried that the training management would be a little complicated - but it's pretty easy, and fun.

Training and all that goes pretty fast - so you just sort of pick if you want to raise speed, card, strength and/or individual stats - and just make sure you're rested for the fight. So you really get to the fights quickly.
