ladder match question

hey guys, in a ladder match, i know if both of you are up top you an push left and right on the right stick to throw a punch and can do a suplex if you have a special, but how do you just throw them off? And, is there anything you can do from the ground if your opponent is at the top (in a 1 on 1 match) thanks
