While I hate the Super Cena stuff as the next guy, the ending made complete sense.

You can't put over Nexus over WWE. As someone said, these are a bunch of nobodies who weren't even on TV a few months ago. Their strength is out numbering whoever they are going up against. No way that 7 of Nexus can beat the 7 WWE put out there, but they came close. That's going to keep this angle going.

I can see someone (maybe Danielson) joining them. Hell, maybe the 2nd season cast off's join. Who knows, but this hardly kills the angle.

I agree. PLUS don't you need some kind of payback to avoid the story going stale. The Nexus has beat the snot out of everyone. I like Cena and my kids love him...say what you want about him..but he took a hell of a nasty looking beating from the Nexus. He helped sell the entire angle. My two kids went nuts when he won (and my 9 yr old son may never forgive the idiot Miz lol). The match alos helped put Danielson over with the general public who doesn't really know him so well.

I thought the PPV was solid. I didn't feel like I got my money's worth since it still feels too much like a regular show than a special event....oh as an aside to a previous postL I think Malena is hot and don't care what others might say...and didn't Hart say she was one of the most talented wrestlers?

I think we all had visions of HHH returning to Team WWE or have the Miz turn and join the nexus. When Cena rejected Miz, I was gearing up to hear Tripps music). Danielson was a shock, and a very good one, but it didn't do much for the overall ending. It just set Danielson vs Miz (After he destroys Alex Riley on Raw).

I feel like we were all waiting for something bigger to happen and, oh look, another Cena against all odds win...Kinda cool (Danielson)...kinda lame (ending). I would say that Tripps joins the nexus after he returns, but I think he has a score to settle with Sheamus. They have to make the Nexus bigger and them break them down into factions (a la NWO Wite and Red)

why is everyone in love with Daniel Bryan? to me, he looks like an out of shape tool with no personality. What am I missing? I understand he was in the minor leagues or whatever but if your like me, who only watched wwe sparingly, and never heard of him before Next season 1, what has he done to warrant me liking him?

Furthermore, how is this guy immediately going to "take the US title off Miz". I dont get how its a given when the Miz has worked his way up in the WWE for years now and is just now getting pushed to the upper-mid level and this awkward looking guy is going to come in and just beat him down, take his belt, and be a mega star? I dont get it, nor do I see it. what am I missing?

Awkward looking guy? Haha, the biggest reason I have a problem with Miz being a champ is because he looks like he could be a douche dancing to techno at a bar. He is far too small for my liking to wear the strap, and I think people have been drinking the Miz-Aid a litttttle too quickly. Yes he's ascending quickly, but he just isn't at that level yet IMO. And his promos have fallen off since winning MITB. He's not being himself, which made his promos great. They are either serious/angry like he's doing a piss poor job of channeling Orton or like last night where he tries to imitate his hero (and ours ) the Rock, which he doesn't have a chance of doing.

I like him, he's fresh. But in an ideal word, he's an upper-mid card guy for a little longer if they had legit US/IC title fueds these days. I feel as if he's the next Lesnar when some of the people here lose their load over him!

Well, he's been a professional wrestler for many years, is one of, if not THE best technical wrestlers in world, and is very solid on the mic.

You may not like him, but he's already more experienced than the Miz, and giving him the US title, rather than having the Miz use it as a giant piece of jewelry may actually make it worth something.

Miz has outgrown the US title. It'd be perfect for Bryan and then a Bryan v Alex Riley show down.

BTW, if you think Bryan is boring on the mic, I think you expect far too much from a professional wrestler.

Im not disagreeing that he is worthy of the US title, heck, they could give it to a fan and have it be more uselful that it is on the Miz, Im just saying though that him coming back and immediately taking it off the Miz legitimately is not cool imo. idk, when I look at Daniel Bryan, im not thinking, man, theres a star. Im thinking, how the heck is this guy in the ring with those Giant dudes. He looks like an average dude.

Think Chris Benoit's role in WWE. In fact I am betting WWE is thinking the exact same thing. If you go back and look at his SS match, he executed nearly every move spot on. Danielson is one of those guys who IMO can have a 5* match with a steel chair. He's the sort of guy who can have great matches with anyone basically.

As for him getting this big push. I think it will happen because...well they decided to bring him back as a surprise appearance in a PPV event, and also I think WWE pays attention to the IWC (evidence by this whole thing). They have brought over a lot of these Indy guys and have done a good job of not giving them silly gimmicks and have given them a chance to showcase their talents in the ring.

Unless Danielson does something wrong, I can see him as a top tier guy. WWE doesn't have many technical wrestlers in the main event anymore. No more Benoit, Angle, or Eddie. It's pretty much just Chris Jericho right now.

Can I say that Danielson is already my favorite wrestler, though? What he did tonight...WOW! That was amazing! That's the way to be both technical and exciting to the fans.

He's going to be a mega star.

I've been saying AmDrag is the Best Wrestler in the World for years. I honestly didn't think he'd amount to much more than a US Champion-worthy version of Jamie Noble in the E due to his lack of size and character, he's just not a Vince-type of guy, but so far he's proving me wrong. I thought he'd get Tazz'd

It helps that the importance of muscles has been downgraded substantially over the last couple years

Now that I'm calm. I didn't like ending only because we have seen it 10,000 times. Super Cena is getting old. Like you said Dislimb, they didn't need Cena to go over there. And for the record, I am not mad at Cena, I like Cena. Its just bad booking.

LOVE than Danielson is back. I figured they would bring him back at some point, I was just worried he wouldn't want to come back.

Overall, great PPV until the ending.

You said my sentiments exactly. I like Cena, but I'm tired of the Cena "Hulk Up" and win the match. I know he's a really over guy with the casual audience, but it would be nice to see him "lose" to a bad guy every now and then cleanly.

If WWE really wanted to do something that was clean and "Shocking" they should have had 1 of 2 things. Barrett goes over clean on Cena or two. Leave it down to Daniel Bryan and have him take out Young and Barrett to really push him. The crowd was chanting for him so that's already a good sign.
