Dallmanator1's All-Time Teams 2014
Sorry about the ALL-CAPS, don't read these posts if it bothers you, I have Young-Onset Parkinson's disease and it's hard to type conventionally, and 95 percent of this is just names.
I randomly pick a franchise team and display the first round of the draft. UPDATE: Will list only First Round, not drafting team's Top 10, starting in Drafts 4-6. I will spell a player's first name out the first time they make the first round to clarify the player if needed.
Drafts will be posted three at a time and I hope to keep a running tally of First Round Draft Point Picks starting with Drafts 4-6. The ninth team will have its Top 10 picks listed, its season simmed, and stats posted. Going to random.org and select the upcoming teams for drafts eight and beyond. They will be listed at the bottom of each draft page.
I will also use nicknames like TULO, IROD, KG JR and KG SR - you should be able to decipher them.
I draft with the future in mind as most players are 18- and 19-years old. After three drafts, the biggest faller from 2013, Version 12, is Yogi Berra. Al Rosen has dropped as well.
First round pick points based on 1st=30, 2nd=29 .... 30th=1. Partial listing. as drafts seem kind of, well, average with many of the same players going in most of the first rounds, while last year brought an extreme first-round - lots of options, perhaps spoiled by all the 99-rated players. Maybe there just aren't enough old school players in this version, seems like the quality at CF and the INF overall just isn't there yet, we'll see what Draft 9 brings.
