Thanks for the concern guys. The car should be getting fixed up soon but oh well I'll just have to drive my dad's car for a little bit (which I don't mind lol). But yea be ready for the Oregon game, it was crazy, like the St. Mary's game. Only problem is it was like a week ago since the game was played so I don't remember all the details of the game. Oh well it was still a good one.

FLASHBACKS OF ST. MARY'S FROM LAST SEASON CREPT IN

      November 24, 2011

Eugene, OR - Every UC Davis fan who attended the Oregon, UC Davis game probably did not feel too good at halftime. Their offense was not anything to be concerned of, but their defense was absolutely horrid.

Oregon, who averaged 60 points in their first 3 games, dropped 51 points in the first half to go into the locker room with an 18 point lead.

No one other than the team knows what Lathen Scott, head coach for the Aggies, said to his players at halftime but it could not have been all that happy.

"Needless to say it wasn't pretty" said junior Ryan Sypkens, "When he gets upset with how we are playing, he lets us know. And let me tell you, he let us know."

Whatever the 32 year old told his team, it worked.

UC Davis came out with a lot of energy and turned into the aggressor. With all 3 post players for the Aggies in foul trouble, Miller and Sypkens stepped up.

"With [Akin] Leonard, [Alex] Tiffin, and [Josh] Ritchart all in foul trouble, I just put it upon myself to step up and hit shots" explained Sypkens, "Luckily me and Eddie were hitting, that is what kept us in the game."

"With about 10 minutes left in the game we were starting to make a little bit of a run and I just kept thinking about the St. Mary's game from last year." said Scott.

No matter how many shots UC Davis hit in the second half, they just could never get the lead back. In the end the young Ducks, no matter how flustered, kept their composure enough to hold onto the win, 90-85.

          UC DAVIS RECRUITING UPDATE

UC Davis has offered a scholarship to recruit who lives a mere 6.5 hours away. His name is Brennon Givens and he is from Inglewood, CA. Currently there is no other team out trying to get him and he is very interested in UC Davis.

There are rumors that he may come in as a better player than both Eddie Miller and Ryan Sypkens. People that have seen him play personally really like his skill and many think he will fit right into the Aggies system if he decides to come to UC Davis. Many Aggie fans are very excited to see this 3* recruit come in with an Aggies uniform.

Brennon Givens is 6'2, 186 lbs.

That was a monumental game against Oregon -- it's a shame there wasn't enough time on the clock to ever claw back into the lead.

Yea I doubt I could have comeback though with everyone in foul trouble but oh well I'm surprised we were even in the game. And will do man!!

Well I royally screwed up. I was playing an old legacy for fun and I accidentally saved it over the UC Davis legacy. I do have a save file from the end of the first season so I will just go back and recreate the schedule and try to recreate all of the wins/losses. Might be a while but I should have it back to normal soon. Or as normal as it can be.

lol I learned early on that after every season that I should have a save file of that legacy just in case. And it's always fun going back and looking up the legacy again. I just hope I can get the same recruit I was going to get because he was a beast and we had him locked.

                      BREAKING NEWS

"Hello welcome to channel 2 news Davis, Ca. And today our top story is that the head coach for the UC Davis basketball team arrested on drug charges today. There are rumors that he was doing deals with former Aggie Mike Kurtz who was cut from the team for the same reason. Upon hearing what happened, UC Davis fired Lathen Scott and Smush Hess is named interim head coach until further notice.

So basically after losing the save file I went back and was not able to recreate the season like it really was with recruiting and everything else so I decided to drop this one and start another. Mainly I felt like I was too successful to early and I feel like I chose basically the best team out of the choices in career legacy so I'm starting over with a really bad team with even harder sliders so I can make this as realistic as possible. Sorry for the inconvience and to anyone who liked this legacy but I promise the next one will be better (even though I doubt I'll be 15-1 in conference again lol).

                        That's a shame, but I understand.

From what I saw on raiderfan's rosters, Winston Salem State University has a 59 overall rating. Not that you'd want to play in the MEAC, but they're super low.

Yea I did consider Winston Salem seeing as they were the lowest rated team but in the end I decided against it. I won't say too much about the team I selected (might even do a write-up tonight if I can) but I will say that they are the worst in the Summit League.....
