Re: Hazzard County - Good Ol' Boys, This Time Meaning Harm (cfb26)

    2033 Conference Title Game

We have faced Minnesota State many times usually twice per season and its always a tough game. They also return Richard Poole (97 ovr)at QB one of the best in the game and almost Soley responsible for having us lose 3 DB's because of play style last year. He has about 13,000 career yards and 100 TD's and can also make plays with his feet. A big game for him here and we could lose about 6 DB's because of play style. As we have said we are ranked 12th so a win and we are in the playoffs again

Hazzard has thrown the ball more than usual this year, but with that high profile QB on the other side we want to go ultra time possession mode. Which means run it and snap it with about 2 seconds on the play clock. We also want to get a little selfish and get Tejeda some stats as we want to win the Doak Walker award and he did with 2 short rushing TDs in the first half. We even basically gave up even trying to score a TD just to waste more clock and go up by 10 at half time. Minnesota State just couldn't stop the run game, and we win this one 31-15 with them scoring in the final 2 minutes.

We didn't want flashy stats we just wanted to win, control the clock and not give up a million pass yards. We did that winning the yardage game 373-201 and just giving up 210 passing yards. A vintage game for us just 31 passing yards with us getting 5 yards per carry.

5 Game Balls - Conference Title Game
HB Beach = 18 carries for 127 yards, 1 TD
HB Tejada = 9 carries for 54 yards, 3 TD
    OG Muamba = 13 pancakes
    LB Manning = 6 tackles, 1 TFL, 1 sack, 1 PBU
    LB Killebrew = 8 tackles, 1 TFL, 1 PBU

      First Ever Doak Walker Winner

Despite all the rushing stats it surprisingly took to 2033 for Hazzard to win the Doak Walker Award giving to the nation's best HB. Ramon Tejeda the former 3* contact seeker wins the award. He was also close for other big awards and finished top 5 in Heisman, Maxwell, and Walter Camp. He finished with 1,039 rushing yards a whopping 11 yard per carry and had 21 TDs. His receiving starts likely played a role for the voters with 36 catches, 423 yards and 5 TD.

Ramon despite being a conact seeker is a speed guy with 98 speed, 99 accel, 96 agility and 97 change of direction. He does have the power 86 trucking, 96 break tackle and gold downhill which is why he has 32 broken tackles this year. He has a overall grade of just 86 overall so he is projected to come back for his senior year. His focus will mostly be on IQ related stuff and then finishing out the elusiveness.

Re: Hazzard County - Good Ol' Boys, This Time Meaning Harm (cfb26)

        1st Round Playoff Preview

        3 Matchups to Watch

DE Ricardo Lewis vs LT Charles Bess
Lewis is rated 95 and Bess just 78 and got his first career start last week

WR Nolan Melvis vs CB DaMarcus Childress
Nolan's 7 TD was the most by a WR in a long time and UF is without its #1 CB. The starters are just rated low 80's

3 UF 1K yard WR's vs great Hazzard DB
Florida basically has 3 guys over 1K yards and the Hazzard DB outside of a few games were lock down. If Florida is going to win they are going to have to pass the ball.

        3 Biggest Questions

Can Florida run the ball without it's star HB Edmond (93 ovr)?

Will the Hazzard OL be just as good without its best player LT Kolton?

Can Hazzard pass the ball on the road?

        Key Players

        Florida Leaders
        QB Marlin Ezeala (84) = 4,312 yards, 41:11
        WR Alex Sylvan (91) = 49 catches for 992 yards, 15 TD
        DE Josh Bias (89) = 45 tackles, 17 TFL, 9 sacks
        LB Jimmie Robert (84) = 86 tackles, 2 TFL, 2 Int

        Hazzard Leaders
        QB Rafael Cesario (82) = 1,558 pass yards, 75%, 22:5 & 161 rush yards, 5 TD
        HB Ramon Tejeda (84) = 1,039 rush yards, 11.1 avg, 21 TD & 36 catches for 423 receiving yards, 5 TD
        S Alfonso Grymes (84) = 85 tackles, 9 TFL,
        CB Alex Braverman (90) = 69 tackles, 4 Int

          1st Round - Florida

Hazzard goes on the road to Florida and gets off to a 10-point lead after 1 with a option TD by backup HB Gossett. Florida would bounce back in the 2nd and cut the lead to 3 going into the 2nd half. The play of the game in the 2nd half a fumble recover by elite dev freshman Juan Alvardo that set up a TD. We needed one TD to clinch the win, and we had only thrown in 12 times so far. We line up in a power set then find our N/S Receiver George Onwualu which officially counts as a run.

A big win on the road and we wanted to control the clock and did 32 min to 15. Since we were on the road we wasn't going to pass that much and a early interception also scared us. We do have over 300 yards on the ground with Tejada getting 92. We were worried about pass defense, but it was very good just 210 yards so the play style dealbreaker for about 7 players still in good shape

          5 Game Balls
          HB Onwualu = 2 TDs
          OL Muama = 10 pancakes, 0 sacks
          OL Amari = 0 pancakes, 0 sacks
          CB Braverman = 3 tackles, 1 INT
          S Juan Alvarado - 4 tackles, 1 TFL, 1 sack 2 FF, 1 FR

            2nd Round - Clemson

HB Beach scores the only points of the 1st quarter a 27-yard TD up the middle. The 2nd quarter belonged to Clemson, and they took a 17-14 lead into the locker room. A massive play to start the 3rd as Clemson got the ball a deflected ball ins up the hands of LB Jacques Killebrew. He returns it all the way and just like that Hazzard had the lead. A little bit later Killebrew wasn't done and gets another interception this time in the endzone so it saved us some points. We then went on a drive for the ages taking up 1 minute shy of a whole quarter. N/S Receiver George Onwualu had 2 TD's last week and gets another out of the backfield to top off the drive. It looked like he would get stopped short but he broke some tackles . This game was all about the defense DE Grant Redman recovers a fumble to ice he game

A big time win 35-24 and going +14 in the 2nd half. A massive day for the defense as they had well over 200 passing yards at half and finishes with 296. The big day was the 3 turnovers created and overall we were +2. We win this game by double digits while losing the yard game something that doesn't happen much. The 11-minute drive was Hazzard football to the core.

            5 Game Balls
            S Grimes = 11 tackles
            CB Braverman = 9 tackles, 5 PBU
            LB Killebrew = 4 tackles, 1 TFL, 2 INT
HB Beach = 13 carries for 133 yards, 1 TD
HB Tejada = 6 carries for 67 yards, 1 TD

Re: Hazzard County - Good Ol' Boys, This Time Meaning Harm (cfb26)

              Semifinals - USC

We face off with a familiar team USC someone we beat earlier in the year a close one 38-33.

We got on a drive to start the game that takes half the quarter, but it ends with 0 points after a missed FG. We go for it on 4th down and call our wingbone bootleg pass, but it's sniffed out and they sack us in the early 2nd. They broke off a huge run, but our defense holds up and they are up 3. It's 3rd and 5 with 1 minute to go till half and we need points since they get the ball and we pick up a key 3rd down. Flexbone FB Manzo scores from 1 yard and caps off a 92-yard drive that takes up more than half the quarter. We get back-to-back sacks and are getting the ball back with 49 seconds at the other 39 with a chance to add a FG. However, a terrible pass by us leads to an interception as Cesarso had a wide-open guy just didn't put air on the ball. It ends up not hurting us and we lead 7-3.

Our defense gets a 3 and out to start the 3rd and slowly move the ball into the redzone. We lull them to sleep with the up the middle runs then hit out 6'6 WR on a RPO for a TD. A huge play and we go up 14-3 with 7 minutes in the 3rd. Our defense is playing out of its mind and have gave up just 41 yards of offense. Next up the play of the game a deflected pass ends up in the hands of Burt a backup LB and gets a huge interception and we are in the redzone again. Its 4th and goal at the 3 and with a 11-point lead we decide to go for it. We call our go to play shotgun-heavy Jet Option and Tejada scores. Then Tejada with Hazzard getting the ball back breaks loose for a 43 yard TD and that should ice the game up 28-10. The defense wasn't done Killebrew intercepts and run out of gas and is stopped at the 1 and we score on a QB run. They waive the white flag and punt with 10 minutes to go down 35-10

The game of the decade for this defense only giving up 232 yards and a lot of those coming in the 4th when the game was over. Hazzard only gives up 110 passing yards so this should confirm our 7 DB's don't leave for play style even if we give up 350 next game. We did have the 2 turnovers including a fumble by the backup FB when were wasting clock. The 2 turnovers we got in the 2nd half is what iced it and unsung hero Jimmy Tutt (78ovr) makes a play to introduce him to the world

              5 Game Balls
LB Jimmy Tutt = 1 key interception
              LB Killebrew = 7 tackles, 1 INT, 1 PBU
              DB's = only 110 passing yards allowed
DT Saubert / DE Chryplewicz = 1 sack each
HB Tejeda = 13 carries for 111 yards, 2 TD

Re: Hazzard County - Good Ol' Boys, This Time Meaning Harm (cfb26)

                National Championship Game

Opening drive for us and on 3rd and long we scramble for a 1st down, but our QB gets hurt and will miss the next 2 series. Tejada scores on a power TD run and the drive also waste half the quarter. They score on a school yard type play and find a WR wide open on the other side of the endzone. We got 3 and out, but our defense bails us out and huge stand to hold them to 3. This means we are down 10-7 with 8 minutes in the 2nd. We got 3 and out for the 3rd straight time which may be the first time that's happened in 9 years. It's 3rd and 9 and they have trips so we drop back a extra DE to help and we still get burned deep. A massive 68 yard TD with just 2 minutes till half and they go up 10. We do add a key 3 points as the half expires to make it a 1 score game. Our pass defense isn't looking good and it appears we can't stop them as they have 200 pass yards at half.

They get the ball first and a big 3 and out with a key 3rd down tackle on a screen pass by CB Burns. We have it 4th and 2 with 5 minutes to go in the 3rd and get a 1st down on goal line heavy screen. FB Manzo scores from 1 yard out to tie the game with a few minutes to go in the 3rd. They have 3rd and long and their TE a pure block drops a huge pass on a diving attempt and that will end the 3rd all tied up

Senior HB Beach a big-time power run to the 34 with 9 minutes on the clock. Everyone knows what Hazzard wants to do waste as much time as possible and score a TD. It's 2nd and 1 and QB sneak doesn't work and neither does the FB dive on 3rd down. We go back to Cribbs on a FB dive from the wishbone and a massive 1st down on 4th down as we get close to the redzone. Manzo gets a handoff on 2nd and long an impressive 8-yard run and its now at the 13 with under 5 minutes to go. We call the same RPO on 2nd and goal we had the big TD with last week thinking they wouldn't cover our 6'6 WR. They do and we lose yards and sets up 3rd and goal at the 7 with 3 minutes to go. We go to our favorite goal line jet option play on 3rd and goal and we get it down to the 1. The entire season is on the line 4th and goal at the 1 and we decide to go for it. We call just a simple flexbone FB dive and Manzo walks in easy for maybe the game winning TD.

A few seconds ahead of the 2 minute warning and they have timeouts so a long way to go in this one. Then the play of the decade happens on that will be remembered forever in Hazzard. Our SS#2 Emanuel Iwuchukwu a normal dev junior former 3* recruit drops back into coverage and with 2 guys near him makes a perfect jump on the ball. He intercepts it and the crowd erupts the biggest play in Hazzard history.

We are now up 7 and we have it in the redzone and they have a few timeouts to go. The bad news 2:02 on the clock so they get a extra timeout. We aren't taking any risk with stoppage of plays for injury timeouts or fumbles or anything like that. We just kneel the ball and kick a easy FG with 30 seconds on the clock. This waste all of their timeouts and makes it a 2 score game. We get a sack on the final play and Hazzard wins the national title for the first time in 2033

                5 Game Balls
S Iwuchukwu = Game Winning INT
HB Manzo = 13 carries for 80 yards, 2 TD
HB Beach = 15 carries for 75 yards
                LB Manning = 6 tackles, 1 TFL
DT Mix = 1 sack on the final drive

                    Major Loss

                    OG Tim Muamba (86)
He played a lot of football for us and gave up just 2 career sacks. He had 93 strength, 92 run block, 95 run power with 4 abilities including silver workhorse and inside shield

                    OT Brian Kolton (92)
He was part of the first ever 3* with elite dev we got and the only one that finished his career with us. He got hurt later in his senior year and we thankfully was able to still win it all. He did officially give up 9 sacks and played a ton of football for us. He got drafted in the 4th round so a little lower than we initially guessed. He had just 86 strength as power guy but made up for it with 99 pass block, 89 run block, 96 run power, 99 lead block. He also had good abilities like gold workhorse and ground N Pound plus platinum inside shield

                    HB Ezekiel Beach (93)
We signed the N/S Blocker after his true freshman year and didn't think he would hang around till his redshirt season with his star dev. He was a 4 year power back for us with 3,369 yards, 44 TD, 5.9 per, 65 BTK, 206 receiving yards and 3 TD. This past season was his best with 1,130 yards and 13 TD. His speed 88, but he was all about the power with platinum headfirst and strong grip with 99 break tackle, 97 trucking and 94 strength. We will miss him in a lock for top 25 players of all time

                    CB Alex Braverman (90)
A top-notch career for the 3* that ends as a 4th round draft pick and #1 CB for the last 2 years. He had for his career 244 tackles, 15 TFL, 7 INT and 47 PBU. He was 6'2 and just 89 speed but 99 for zone, awareness and play rec, change of direction. He makes the top 25 players of all time

                    WR Nolan Melvis (92)
The first ever WR we have had go pro and the best one we have ever signed in the portal as he goes in the 4th round. He took advantage of the better passing QB this year and doubled his yards from 196 to 333 and TD's went from 2 to 7. He was a 6'2 contested specialist so not a burner, but had 99 spec catch, 94 CIT, 93 overall route runner and for us mostly importantly 94 strength and 71 run blocks. A perfect WR for us he will be missed and goes down as #1 best WR we have had

                    DT James Saubert (84,portal)

He makes the list more as he was the best player that entered the portal and now DT is a need area. He led the team with 7 sacks and also 22 TFL this past year as a 311-pound power rusher. He is open to coming back to Hazzard and currently has us 4th.

HB / FB Trayvon Cribbs (90)
He was officially a HB, but found his role at FB for us mostly a blocker. but did have over 500 career rushing yards and 2 TD. He leaves us after his redshirt sophomore season and was a hoss with 96 trucking, 93 strength, 94 BCV, 82 pass block, 70 run block and more importantly platinum headfirst, sidekick and strong grip. Since he was only here for 2 years despite going in the 5th round is the #2 blocking FB we have had.

                    Mild Loss

                    TE Sidney Reinbolt (87)
A pure blocker that we had for a year and was the #2 TE this year. He had 13 catches and was on the field because his 84-run block

                    C Elton Menzie (80)
A backup and then moved to C this year where he started for our first title team. He was better than his overall shows which was mostly just because he had just86 strength, but did have 89 run block and gold ground n pound

                    DE Tremaine Daniels (83)
The athlete DE could play DE or DT at 6'6 and 286 pounds. He had 29 career TFL and 8.5 sacks and unfortunately got hurt for his senior season. He had 96 tackle, 99 pursuit, 96 agility with 80 speed and 86 strength.

                    DE Kevin Cheeks (83)
More of a rotation guy, but did have to start at base DE down the stretch. He had 10 TFL and 5.5 sacks. He was 6'6 and 261 pounds with 91 power move and solid sped/power.

                    DT J.J Mix (81)
A 4-year starter at NT for us thanks to his 98 strength and platinum grip breaker as well as 98 hit power and 94 tackle. Despite being the NT he still got 9.5 career sacks including one on the final drive of the title game

                    LB Jacques Killebrew (92)
We just have him for a year and it was a big time one with 76 tackles, 12 TFL, 10 PBU and 6 interceptions. He had some clutch plays in the playoffs. Despite not really being our type of LB, he helped bridge the gap for a year and got drafted in the 4th round. A lot of unrealized potential here with best skills being 90 tackle, 97 pursuit that shouldn't have got that many interceptions as he didn't have good hands

                    LB Artie Manning (88)

Another 1 year LB that started for us and had 74 tackles, 9 TFL and 6 sacks. He was more athletic than Killebrew 87 speed, 93 acceleration, 91 play rec and 93 overall power grade. We thought he would get drafted, but he didn't

                    OT Nate O'Dowd (82)
Mostly a career backup did play a good but this past year. He had 85 run block, 93 strength, but just 1 ability. Overall, not bad for a 3* with normal dev.

                    P George Ejiya (84)

A 4-year punter that averaged 42 yards for his career. A really talented guy with 95 power, 97 accuracy and platinum coffin corner. We signed a punter in last years class, but he wasn't as good as we thought so still could use one.

QB Eric Phung (79) & QB Lee Cuevas (78)
Athlete dual threats that redshirted this past year. A good overall and look good on paper, but have limited upside. This does leave us with only 2 scholarship QB's as of now so we will need to add 1 in the portal.

                    Little to No Impact
                    WR Kai Tuttle (79)
                    WR Eric Dennis (87)
                    WR Miguel Castillo (83)
                    DT Marquez Dunsmore (77)
                    DT Oscor Doubs (82)
                    LB Gage Volk (81)
                    LB Alfonso Scales (82)

Best Player =FS Juan Alvarado (93 ovr)
Best Returning Starter = FS Juan Alvarado

                      Weakness = LB's

                      3 Biggest Questions

                      1. Can the pass defense duplicate last year in the SEC?

                      2. Will this be the year as we get a 12+ sack guy?

                      3. Can the speedy but unproven LB's hold up?

                      Scouts Take

This DE group is very good the best Hazzard has had maybe ever with a lot of NFL bodies. The guy about to expload is that sophomore Feeley his quick jump is as good as it gets. Them getting Saubert back was huge he had 7 sacks last year and gives them a proven DT with those DE/. The elite young S may have gotten to good as I think both leave for the NFL after there sophomore year. The DB room is fast and so are the LB's. If the pass rush is as good as it should be they will be one of the nation's best defense.

                      [DL Preview
The DL group is loaded Jimmy Chyrplewicz (87) has improved as a rush DE. But he had just 3.5 sacks at rush DE so we want more. Grant Redmond just 7.5 sacks and will get a chance to also play rush DT this year. He has platinum grip breaker and take down and is just a junior. Fred Freely (83) a freaky athlete with 95 accel and platinum quick jump will see a much larger role. The former athlete TE Soroh (83) another big time athlete with 92 speed and 98 agility just no abilities. James Saubert with 7 sacks last year is back and now has platinum take down. Ben Humphries (79) a redshirt freshman with star dev is DT #2.

                      LB Preview
A change of pace we didn't go to the portal for LB and will rely on more unproven speedy types this year. Senior Kaleb Burt with 89 speed will get first crack with 4 other similar fast guys also as options. The big name is redshirt freshman Clyde O'Conner a 92-speed thumper, but isn't good in coverage. With a pretty stacked DL and DB group we are hoping to get by with a little worse LB then usual.

                      DB Preview
The CB room is loaded and after a big offseason 6'2 97 speed Jermaine Burns (89) takes over as the #1.Sophomore Cade Hassenauer will be #2 with his 96 speed, gold blanket coverage and platinum quick jump and lay out. Cade had 87 tackles and 9 PBU last year. Sophomore Dylan Toney (87 ovr) with 94 speed at 6'2 with gold blanket coverage will be the slot. The elite dev redshirt sophomore duo is back and Juan Alvarado is the best player on the team (93) after 73 tackles last year. He has 96 speed, 99 zone and platinum robber. Alfonso Grymes lead the team with 107 tackles last year and could also go pro after just his 2nd year playing. He is a more balanced type with platinum blow up and gold knockout. This unit was top 10 in the country and return basically everyone, but will face tougher competition.

                        3 Biggest Questions

                        1. How will QB Cesario do after a breakout year with 31 total TDs and 8 Int?

                        2.Can Tejada win the Heisman?

                        3. How will the first ever 5* Alexander Prosinski do as a true freshman?

                        [[QB Preview[/B]
Cesario is back and made this Hazzard offense a little more balanced this past year still under 2,000 passing yards, but had 25 passing TDs. A average arm strength, but great accuracy with platinum step up and gold on time. He isn't a burner but mid 80's speed enough to make some plays rushing. He is a junior and graded out 88 so could go pro after this year. The 94 speed Junior Office with platinum magician is ready as the backup plus a solid looking 3rd string that came over in the portal.

                        HB Preview
Roman Tejada (93) easily could win the Heisman after being top 5 a year ago with 1,348 rush yards, 400+ receiving yards and a boatload of TDs. He has basically 99 in all speed plus platinum downhill and 86 trucking. Junior George Onwualu (92) with platinum safety valve and headfirst will carve out a role somewhere likely power HB. Jahlil Gosset (85)is another 4.2 guy that had 500 rushing yards last year. George Gaay is a senior power back with 99 trucking and 97 break tackle. Anthony Spoon (92) likely gets drafted as a junior despite never even getting on the field much.

                        Blocking & Flexbone FB Preview
With Cribbs off to the NFL after just 2 years playing its utility FB Vick that will take over as the blocking FB. He has just 85 run block and 79 lead block so is a bit of a downgrade. He does have gold safety valve so a more balanced type as a former TE. We have some TEs we will play at #2 FB while we redshirt a blocking FB. Ben Manzo is the flexbone FB again after back-to-back 700+ yard seasons with 6 TD each. A beast with 99 agility, 99 break tackle,93 with platinum downhill. His 99 acceleration is key on those FB dives.

                        WR Preview
We are thin in numbers here just 5 and will redshirt 2 so we need some luck with health. The 6'6 Jalen Brigance (87) is the #1 after a impressive 48-420-4 TD season. He has platinum 50/50 and gold sure hands and press pro with some route running as well. We expect a major year and if he comes back next year could break some school records. The #2 comes over from the portal and we are excited about him Ron Van **** after just 300 career yards at Boston College. He is a 6'3 contest specialist with 4 abilities and 89 strength and 69 run blocking. True freshman Mitch Dalton will be the #3 with some TE's filling in if injury happens

                        TE Preview
We have 6 TEs on the roster, but the only one that matters is Alexander Prosinki. The first ever 5* we got a 6'6 and 269 pounder that will also get some FB carries. He already grades out mid 80's in speed and hands and we just have to get his production good and get to the offseason. With his elite dev he will look worlds better in year 2. He will likely focus in season on blocking. Noah Willingham (86) will be the #2 with a pair of seniors behind him. Damarious Bynum (85) a undersized senor portal add from Bama not sure where he will fit in.

                        OL Preview
Cesar Amaro is back and will move to the LT elite abilities like platinum strong grip, gold workhorse and inside shield. Senior Chad Bess (83) with 90 run block, platinum grip breaker and gold ground N Pound will start at LG. Robert Hatch (87) a beast at 334 pounds with 90 run block, platinum grip breaker and inside shield starts at LG. Gideon Cox (86) a portal add with 91 run block and 4 total abilities starts at RT. C is a question mark with Sophomore Jason Gibbs taking over with just 84 run block. However, he has platinum quick step, outside shield and option shield. The 6'8 sophomore Shaq Okine will be a key backup.
