Deciding On A Team??
I've narrowed it down to a select few teams that I was interested in playing as on Madden and writing about after looking through the pages and eliminating teams that had already been taken I decided on the teams above.14Washington Redskins0%0San Diego Chargers0%2Tampa Bay Buccaneers0%4San Francisco 49ers0%8Tags: None -

I voted 49ers. Try playing with Hill or Smith :wink:Comment

Re: Deciding On A Team??
Oh, I guess it posted before I was able to finish the poll. The poll is up now. Here's my analysis on why I chose these teams.
Redskins - A team that has it's core of players in place, their biggest question is Campbell and if he is there guy, if he isn't this season, how many years can they set them back by either drafting a top-end QB or trying to go after one sometime in the near future? An offensive line that is average aside from Samuels and a defense that has some player makers on it especially the rising of LaRon Landry and signing of Albert Haynesworth
Chargers - Do they still have what it takes? Especially LT? Can he be LT again or not? Will Sproles be taking his playing time slowly? The defense is solid with the return of Merriman, but can Cromartie recover from his hip injury?
Buccaneers - They have no clue who their starting QB will be and have question marks all over their WR. They added Kellen Winslow, but him and Antonio Bryant can't do it all? Have the Bucs given up on the likes of Cadillac and Michael Clayton? A defense with glaring holes in nowhere near what they where years back.
49ers - My favorite team. Shaun Hill just got the starting job, but how long will he keep the starting job? Will Crabtree ever put on that 49ers jersey and hopefully be the next great WR to wear one? Pretty sure this will be the last year Vernon Davis will wear that 49ers jersey unless he puts up and shuts up and lives to his potential, unless that is all he will ever be potential. They brought in Brandon Jones who will be out for almost 8 weeks, which leaves Isaac Bruce and the improving and young talent of Josh Morgan. The defense is ok at best with big holes in the secondary aisde from Nate Clements, can Manny Lawson and Parys Haralson be those outside pass rushers they have the potential to be? What about the 3 down lineman? Patrick Willis can't do it all by himself, actually, he probably could but that isn't the point. A few solid players from being a real contender, a big sleeper this year if things can go well.Last edited by DJ Penguin; 08-25-2009, 10:59 PM.Comment
