June 1, 2014: The Minnesota Vikings are proud to announced Arthur Warren as the new General Manager, he will take the place of Rick Spielman. We would like to thank him for everything that he has done, but we believe that we need to move in another direction.

Arthur Warren: Thank you Minnesota for giving me this opportunity to begin to rebuild this amazing team and I promise that we will be competing for Super Bowls within a few years! This team has a long way to go, but I believe with the help of Mr. Wilf and the rest of the staff, we can turn this franchise around. I have a lot of faith in this team and its recent draft picks and believe that they can lead us to several NFC North titles.

    2014 Preseason Recap:

After coming off of a 5-7 mediocre season last year, the Minnesota Vikings look to Arthur Warren and head coach Mike Zimmer to improve and make the playoffs this year. It all starts in the preseason where we see many position battles, stunning news that will change the Vikings franchise forever, and some goals for some of the players. Let's begin.

Minnesota Vikings 4-0 in the 2014 Preseason!
Is this team ready for the playoffs?

Warren: I am very pleased with the determination and maturity of this team so far. The rookies has stepped up and I think we will have a successful team this year. We are in a bit of a situation with our cut list because of the talent that has shown up this year, but we can only have 53 men on the roster and we will have to make some tough choices.
August 25, 2014: The Minnesota Vikings have finalized their 53-Man Roster and have included 12 players to be released including:

    QB Chandler Harnish
    FB Zach Line
    WR Rodney Smith
TEs Ryan Otten & Cullen Loeffler
OGs Joe Berger & Austin Wentworth
    DE Justin Trattou
    OLB Dom Decicco
CBs Chris Greenwood & Marcus Sherels
    S Mistral Raymond

Adrian Peterson indicted on counts of Child Abuse

    What should the Vikings do?

Warren: The Minnesota Vikings have come to a very tough decision today in regards to Adrain Peterson. We do not believe in players who are involved in a violence like this and in turn we have made the decision to release Adrian Peterson today. We would like to thank him for everything that he has done for this organization, but we must move on without him. We wish the best for him on and especially off the field.
August 31, 2014: The Minnesota Vikings have signed recent released RB James White, a rookie out of Wisconsin. He was released by the New England Patriots only a day earlier. White looks to aid the Vikings in the backfield after releasing All-Pro running back Adrian Peterson after allegations of child abuse.
