Maybe Indiana happened to walk into the perfect storm, and this kind of year will never happen again.
Or this year becomes the norm and maybe next year's national champuon is Northwestern, or Syracuse, or Vanderbilt, or Rutgers.
Yeah they have a good team absolutely. I just meant that their team is a top 10 payroll. They've brought in transfer guys whose high school rankings were lower than their actual production once they got on college campuses. Like their Heisman QB.

They get credit for meshing it all together absolutely, great coaching for sure, but I just meant that unless your school has backers to drive a top 10 roster in terms of money then it's not a unique story in the new era. Which very few schools have that luxury.

I do hope they do something about the rampant tempering that's happening nationwide

We're on our way to Nascar style uniforms!

The NCAA unearthed another revenue stream Friday when Division I leaders approved patches for uniforms in a move that could generate millions to fund athletic departments.

They should definitely move to one signing day. Signing Day use to be a big deal. I literally forgot that today was NSD

I'm all for making the February NSD as the only signing day. Giving the transfer portal a few weeks after the National Championship. Nowadays, the bulk of his high caliber players commit prior to the December period. Moving it back to February and having the transfer portal after the National Championship, would allow new coaches to not feel worried about recruiting classes

I'm surprised it took that long for NDSU to move up with how dominant they have been over the past couple decades. Fees are a lot, but I do think they can be competitive and moving up to the G6, should allow more players to be interested. It is a shock that it would be for this upcoming season. They would need a FBS schedule already lined up. I do wonder if NDSU gets the FBS bid, would they be included in CFB 27.

Meanwhile, you have Sacramento State trying to buy their way up to the FBS lol.

A new team to play as if you want some cold weather games.
