This is very specific to an issue that get 1-2 times a game and I cannot figure out if I am doing something wrong. I thought I was getting good at it.
I use only the placement feature and I have gotten good at leading guys away from coverage with this. It works 90% of the time. However, sometimes the QB doesn't throw the ball. I see a RB out in the flats wide open, I press the button to throw to him, the game slows down (minimal slowdowns setting) and I place the reticle on the far outside to lead the receiver but then nothing happens. The QB is still in the pocket, he has not been pressure and he is not getting sacked. He just didn't throw it.
Is this a glitch or am I doing something wrong that I do not realize? I love the new passing but I have to say it has cost me 2-3 times on critical 3rd or 4th downs where a guy is wide open but the QB just doesn't release the ball at all. I am hoping it's something I am accidentally doing so that I can "fix" my own mechanics.
