This would be a perfect option for For Person Football.

Jacksonville Jaguars - Seattle Seahawks - Seattle Mariners - Jacksonville Sharks - Oklahoma City Thunder - Florida Gators

I do. I remember the days of NFL Quarterback Club where a gamer playing by himself against the AI can switch to a Guard or a Tackle to help block for your Running Back. Believe it or not it was a lot of fun! Especially if you were having a hard time breaking your man free for a big gain, you could just block for him. Not only would this be a fun addition to the game playing by yourself, it would be a HUGE help when playing with a teammate.

There's more to life than passing the ball, catching the ball and running the ball. NFL2k5 should reflect this.

Were you trying to say FIRST PERSON FOOTBALL, or FOUR PERSON FOOTBALL? Either way, I want this feature to be in standard Franchise Mode.

Any extra options that expand the gameplay is fine with me. After all, if I don't like it, I don't have to use it. But it would be an excellent option, especially if you pitch the ball to the running back on a sweep. I don't know how many times I've gotten stuffed when my AI lineman just let somebody go around him without making an attempt to block. This way as soon as it's pitched, I could hit a button and switch to a lineman to block. The computer could default to first switching to the fullback or whomever is the "logical" first line of blocking needed, based on the play.

                  Great idea.

Thanks goober. You are 100% correct about the sweeps. I tend to avoid them all together because of the poor AI blocking for the route. Having 'Switch To Blocker' would solve this problem too, making the game more useful and fun.
