Yeah that'd be incredible if any of them only got the tender offers from their teams, exposing them like that. Steelers still trying to make room to franchise Wallace I think.

So all signs point to Laron Landry being let go by the Skins. If so, you are more than welcome in NY... for slightly over a million per year that is.

Can you link me to these signs? I will be pissed if Landry is let go, despite his being an *** hole about his injury.

Never liked Laron. Can't cover anyone, but he's a good tackler I guess. In this day an age you need safetys who can cover somewhat. I just look at him an wonder why he's not close to what Taylor was.....same physical gifts but one just played so much better.

Laron hasn't been healthy in 1.5 seasons. When the Redskins stopped trying to make him a FS, and let him play SS near the LOS first 8 games of 2010 he was being mentioned in DPOY talk. If he ever gets healthy who knows. But the fact that he is ****ing around with his Achilles and not getting the surgery recommended by doctors he is probably gonna get "low balled" by Washington and take more money elsewhere. Which is just another case of the Redskins drafting a guy and letting him walk rather than keep him when he is entering his prime. Hello Carlos Rogers.

Bucs have rolled over their cap space from last year and said they intend to be very active in free agency. They could have about $60m to spend.

Me and a couple other people are the only ones that'd care but RB Jerome Messam of the Edmonton Eskimoes signed a deal to play with the Miami Dolphins, not only is he a CFL'er but he's also a Canadian so I hope he makes the squad and does well.

I'd have visions of Laron Landry in a Saints Uniform if we didn't like give Roman Harper a contract extension last year.

I think my Cowboys' free agent shortlist includes the following players, with the understanding that the team likely could only legitimately sign one of the three listed below:

                    Paul Soliai, NT, Dolphins
                    Carl Nicks, G, Saints
                    Mario Williams, DE/LB, Texans

Well whoever gets Grimes (hopefully we get him back) will be getting the best cb in the league the past two years according to pro football focus. Hell you could tell just from watching him how good he's been.

Cap room probably a bigger barrier to that happening.

Oh yeah I know that, lol.

But even if we did have the space, it'd probably still be an unlikely move anyway.

Hoping Spags gets the players he needs this offseason or through the draft. Going to be tough as we won't have a lot of $$ to work with if we resign Colston/Nicks or atleast one after Brees.

Houston can't apply the franchise tag to Williams (they can't fit the $22M cost of the tag to him under the projected 2012 salary cap), so if he doesn't agree to a long-term extension before March 13 that's exactly what will happen.
