Going back to playoff Lenny instead of bringing in a capable RB and not having more depth on the OL are the reasons I think Leftwich is taking the fall for this year.
Yeah, I would like to Leftwich in a different situation. There's still a few jobs OC jobs open, so I hope he gets a second job.

But, this does make me think that if you have a shot at a HC job as a "hot" candidate, you almost have to take it. I think it was that Leftwich didn't want to be attached to Baalke, but this shows how fast a window can close. But, I do understand wanting to go to a good situation. Where, I wouldn't want that Houston job. How can anybody feel they have time to develop a team with two consecutive one and done HCs, even though it was known that they were stopgap hires. The main attraction is that they have the #2 pick and a good amount of draft picks. But who's to say that the Colts or another team trades in front of them to take the Texans preferred QB

Roman out as Ravens OC. I don’t follow them that closely but assuming Lamar is back he seemed like the right fit to be calling plays for him. I would think you’d want the next OC to run the same type of offense

This is absolutely embarrassing, how/why he is still the coordinator? It's truly baffling....

Matt Canada’s Offensive Scoring Rankings in College:

        Indiana: 38th, 97th, 84th, 56th
        Wisconsin: 60th
        NC State: 98th, 57th, 41st
        Pitt: 10th
        LSU: 76th
        Maryland: 69th

People are for reviews if it backs their argument, and against them when they don't.

This is exactly why I said I would have blasted a D1 program for hiring him as an OC, let alone an NFL offense.

Don't get me wrong, some guys are just better in the NFL, but I saw his system enough to have a pretty good idea he wasn't going to be one of those guys.

At the same time here, and I hate having to defend him, Pickett did start putting it together towards the end of the year. Was that because Canada changed the offense to fit him better, did he simply improve...etc I dunno, I don't watch enough Steelers football to really know the answer.

As long as Kenny keeps developing next year, he can be let go without too much harm done.

I do think some type of change needs to made. I would like to see them upgrade the RB spot and commit to being a little more balanced on Offense. While Allen is great, he does tend to play hero ball. Losing Daboll did play a factor. His INTs are way up this year. Injuries did play a part this year. But, this a loaded roster and the ceiling shouldn't be the Conference championship game.

They don’t really need wholesale changes on the roster.

Do they need to have a serious discussion about what they want to be on Offense? Absolutely. They seemed to address the depth issue last offseason but then key guys got hurt again, so there’s nothing much you can do in that regard.

Lot of times in playoffs, it’s mostly luck/circumstance type **** that plays a big factor in certain teams coming up short.

But as long as they have Allen there, they’ll always be a “retool” more than a “rebuild” team, which is a fine spot to be in, especially when you look at some of these other franchises.

Diggs might wanna have a convo with Rodgers if he’s asking that question in particular because he knows all about that, lol.

Here's random news you weren't expecting.

Jeff Bezos might sell the Washington Post with the intent to buy the Commanders.

I don't know that the Bills need an upgrade at halfback as much as they need an upgrade an offensive line and a commitment to the run game as a philosophy. Remove Allen from the run game and Buffalo has 1470 yards on 306 carries, a 4.8 Y/C average. Even if you assume Allen took all the hard yardage carries, and the Y/C would go down, they'd have to fall half a yard to go below league average. I think a power back (even a cheap one) coupled with Cook and Duke Johnson is enough, considering you've gotta go lean somewhere.

They definitely need to figure out the wideout situation, however, since we went berserk on slot wideouts and never threw to them.

Hackett is hired by the Jets for Offensive Coordinator.. Maybe they
are going to trade for Rodgers..That's his old OC..

I do think it is time that they trade Rodgers. Might as well transition over and see what they have in Love. They have a decent skill player group that should be enticing to Rodgers. Off topic, I just don't care for their uniforms. Call me old fashioned, but I'll take a clean simple look over the attempts at modern style uniforms.

Their season went off the tracks when Hall, Tucker, and a few other players got injured. They have a talented team and an upgrade at QB would raise the ceiling. I never was a fan of Wilson. I felt he was drafted solely off of traits. I feel that a lot of teams get into trouble when they draft QBs primarily because of traits. They get enamored with the ability to make off platform throws and "pure passing ability".

Usually I can get adjusted uniforms after a while. But, still don't care for theirs, Seahawks, Rams uniforms
