    Re: Does Computer cheat?

One solution is to stop playing NHL from EA. I know its harsh but it'll save you alot of headache, its not worth it in my opinion. I did it anyway.

The second clip watch as my Penguins player's stick gets to the puck first. Then suddenly the puck magnetises to the Capitals player's stick. This happens a lot. And of those 50/50 pucks, I just assume Ill lose.

Totally understand but you gotta remember its kinda programmed like the show and the how it happened could be smoother I agree but its actually the cpu AI changing /strategies so you need to adjust .

I dont know why you would raise your acceleration 2 clicks higher than the cpu for that problem as a fix ? I mean at 2 clicks higher than the cpu they would never even catch me and remember even just a click here or there can change the whole game entirely when you way in all the other factors.

        A couple more examples.

The first one speaks for itself.

The second one happens a lot. Pass reception animations decide to not trigger.

It's at the point where I dont trust the game with controls. I have given up winning contested pucks against the CPU. My poke checks go straight to the other team. Their poke checks basically stay on their stick.

          Re: Does Computer cheat?

Im starting to think that the CPU doesnt cheat, its just the general AI is terrible.

          Ive just uploaded this one.

It is a literal perfect storm of idiocy.

Initially, the bowling pin physics effect was cool. But...

          1. Watch as the Wings skater pushes his fallen teammates along the ice. Er what?

          2. The whiff from Kunitz. That wouldnt happen in a junior game.

          3. The scrum of still down Wings screens out their goalie.

          4. The ref who seems determined to interrupt the play.

This could be the most LOL thing Ive ever seen in a game.

I think cpu stratergy notched high makes a big difference, if going into last period becomes more attacking, as you would expect in a real game. I also thing that league position\form is programmed in ie you would expect a top team to beat a bottom team.

Yes the CPU Cheats. IT's VERY ObviOUS!!!! they go into pshyco mode and you can't touch the puck.. Luckily it doesn't happen on a constant basis..

                Re: Does Computer cheat?

Not on the original NHL 15 release of the game as puck and player physics were real and organic but after the patch 103 update its uses all the cheats from years pasts , boosting , big hits , nerfing of controls and even frame clipping when goals are needed even on impossible angles the puck will change direction

                  Re: Does Computer cheat?

There is no cheat but EA made the game like this to keep it challenging. The only way they can get it difficult is by giving the CPU boosts.

This **** right here pisses me off, and I pick the Penguins too. so many glitches on the puck/stick physics for the User and NONE for the CPU, unless you turn their settings all the way down, and it doesn't even matter most of the time. They need to have AI sliders, because the one they have right now don't even work
