I get everyone's focused on the Jays, but the Leafs crowd this year seems more dead than usual and that's saying something.

Solid point for the Pens last night after being down 2 late. If it wasn't for their PK being brutal against the Ducks, they should be 6-1-2. But after 9 games and them being 6-2-1 we will take it.

Elias Pettersson got his 1st point of the season on Sunday vs the Oilers.

Just you watch, one day we're getting the trifecta. Pettersson goal from Pettersson and Pettersson. But I'll settle for an Elias Pettersson goal assisted by Elias Pettersson.

Rangers in Vancouver tonight to determine which team won the JT Miller trade.

(Spoiler: both teams lost the trade.)

It's crazy how they make a big deal out of every team being in action on the same night.

            Anyways, go Sharks.

They should do it in January on the weekend there's no NFL.

And also, start games at different times all day long.

With 16 games, you could run games starting every 45 minutes from 12pm ET until 11:15pm ET (8:15pm PT).

It's not going to attract some big national audiences, but at least that sounds cooler.

My "live" radio broadcast of the Sharks game is 30ish seconds behind the TV broadcast.

Saturday, Wings scored 6 straight goals after falling behind St Louis 4-0 and McLellan called timeout and lit them up while covering his mouth

Tonight, St Louis fell down 4-1 to the Wings (that's a 10-1 swing if you're not a math major ), and Montgomery called the timeout to light up his team, but didn't cover his mouth

Detroit went on to win 5-2. Apparently if you're gonna light up your team, you gotta cover your mouth

Also, Detroit has won 7 of 10 to start the season for the first time in 15 years lol, this after I blew up the team opening night

I want the Wings to make the playoffs to finally deliver upon all the O6 matchups we were promised when Detroit moved back east. The Florida teams are tiresome; Wings vs Habs, Leafs, or Rangers, please.

Another fact that'll make you feel old.

Kadri is about to play in his 1000th NHL game.

I remember going to an Abbotsford Heat playoff game where Kadri was playing for the Marlies.

(Of course, I already felt old back then.)

Sharks put it on Seattle last night.

I know they're still at least a couple years away from actually being good, but man the young core is exciting.

Macklin Celebrini is gonna be a dude.

Speaking of Kadri on the Marlies, I remember that 2012/13 lockout season where AHL eligible guys got sent to the minors since there was no NHL.

For a short time the Marlies had Kadri, Rielly, Gardiner on that team. Was fun going to an AHL game featuring guy you knew would be in the NHL if not for the lockout.
