    $$$, that's why. Florida's and Tampa's gate revenues reek. Expect both teams to boost ticket prices for "premium" games next season (ie, Boston, Detroit, Montreal, Toronto). Lotsa snowbirds in Florida during the winter.

      And they'll likely be outnumbered in their own building every time one of those teams visits.

            Only problem I have is Detroit not being in the same division as Nashville, Chicago, Dallas, and Colorado.

                Dallas isn't going anywhere.

                Am glad to see that they are getting rid of the 2nd round matchup problem that the NBA resolved. Right now, your two best teams could meet in the 2nd round if all top seeds win (could potentially happen this year with Montreal and Boston). The NBA fixed it by not seeding division champions #1-#3 always. But with two divisions per conference, shouldn't be a problem any more. Minnesota and Winnipeg as 4th seeds look much more reasonable this year. Not sure why they never changed it.
