He looked for any reason not to play. About as gutless a hockey player I've ever seen. Not a bad player when he wants to play. Unfortunently he didn't want to play very often while a member of the Hawks.

McCabe was a great player on the Islanders. The Captain I remember. But the greatest memory of him was when he won a fight and he went back and said sorry to the guy. Even the announcers confirmed it.
