You have to use the code to unlock it (console versions) not sure if it is on the PC? If you bought the game from Target they already show up. If you did not buy from Target you use the code. This is what I get from gamefaqs.com

I have yet to try the code or verify the info, but they say it nets you $500,000 when you win.

Yes, it does. It basically makes itself into a scenario, and if you get gold (Beat Tiger without a playoff) you get 500,000. I think it's part of the EA Bio that you create. You get money for certain accomplishments, this being one.

I just took down Tiger. Took me about 4 tries, but it unlocks a few golf courses and pays you 150K. However at the end it said I had 572K current cash so it must not have displayed all the money won. Pretty tough because he puts everything right by the hole. He'll make a few real bad shots though and you have to capitalize on that. I got lucky. I made a hole in 1 on the par 3 and then chipped in for a birdie on the last hole. Pretty cool though...
