Got it day 1 and haven't looked back.

It's gotten the most play on my PS4 over any other game.

TGC. Play daily. Wanted Rory to be THE game but appears it isn't. Didn't buy it yet based on all the input at OS.

Yea, Capfan, same here. I wanted Rory to be a great video golf game experience. It hasn't happened. Not sure that it will. I slogged my way through a couple seasons just to try and level up my golfer, but that just didn't do it for me.


I might still play a couple online daily tournaments each week just I don't feel like I completely blew $60.


I've gone back to playing TW14 in real time with the Tour events.


Add in some NCAA 14 with a few good teams and a few not so good ones, and I'm set until NHL 16 comes out. Let's hope it's better than NHL 15 otherwise I double my losses on EA games this year.

I got the DLC course packs for TW14 and have been playing that.

Also, I just happened to put NCAA14 in for a lark and now I can't stop playing it. I have become a PS3 kind of guy! :-)

TGC dominates, especially since I create courses and spend hours doing that, but I actually play all three of the golf titles.

I play Rory less while waiting for new courses but I like it just fine (save for the celebrations), and if I need a heavier career fix I resume my TW14 career as I please. Still a great game.

When it's on my X1 though, it's Rory. Just couldn't get into TGC.

TBH though, haven't played TGC in months. Haven't played Rory since it was out and for about 2 weeks after launch. Neither one has anything to keep me coming back.

I have been splitting my time playing only TW08 PC and Perfect Golf PC this year. Perfect Golf will be releasing a course design tool soon and a bevy of quality user made courses will follow.

I'm 95% TGC and 5% Perfect Golf right now. If Perfect Golf had a real time, thumbstick controller based swing interface that was at least as good as TGC's, it would probably dominate my golf game play time, provided they get the putting physics refined to the extent I believe is possible. I wish I could muster up some sort of feel for the 3-click or motion swings in PG, but they just don't float my boat. I tolerate 3-click (non real time motion swing is a total disconnect for me) long enough to play a few rounds with each update, but I'm so unengaged by the swing interface that it's not enough to keep me inspired.

Perfect Golf reportedly has a real time, thumbstick controller swing that will feature a ratio sensitive backswing to downswing component on the way. That could be a game changer if it's done right. PG's current mouse driven motion swing also requires a ratio sensitive swing, but with it not being tied to the golfer animation in real time, I can't get any sense of feel from it.

Been Hot Shots only for years. Use to like the old PGA tour games on sega genesis.

I like the 3 click method. Not a fan of pushing anolog sticks/mice to swing at all.
