What we got was the Razor Kishi controller for Android. I own a PS5, XBox Series X, and Nintendo Switch as background.
So with this device, you basically turn your phone into a nintendo switch like handheld. You then can remote play your Xbox (or use Xbox cloud streaming if you have Gamepass), your PS5 games (need special app to allow this controller to work with PS5 but app works), or streaming PC games using Steam Remote play app.
There is a little lag introduced when using streaming (I have good internet and still have some) but overall the experience is good.
It doesn't replace the gaming devices but I'm finding myself now playing Tiger Woods 2K23 while sitting on couch (MLB the Show or other various games as well). I did have to turn difficulty down a notch due to lag but after that the experience has been pretty good.
Anyway, just thought I'd share. As an older gamer it is hard to pull myself away from family to go and play games but not so hard if we are all sitting around watching TV and hanging out. The Switch just never had games I wanted to play (and for the ones I could like MLB the Show, I prefer remote play over MLB The Show Nintendo Switch as it is visually better with similar playability).
So to me this was a nice little purchase. Just thought I'd throw it out since I never really gave remote play a thought before. But now I can have my PS5, XBox, Gamepass, and PC collection available on handheld device on phone. Enjoying Tiger Woods 2K23 as a handheld game.
