For what it's worth, I sent the following email to HB Studios today to see if it gets any traction:
"Would it be possible to offer a gameplay option that allowed the player to configure the swing mechanic such that tempo would determine "Push/Pull", and swing path determine "Hook/Slice", instead of the contrary? My instincts associate a pulled shot with a quick tempo and a hook with an inside out swing path, but since the introduction of tempo as a component, this series has always linked it, rather than swing path, with hook/slice.
I know having an option like this would split the user base into two distinct groups, but it would be nice to have this as an option at least for offline and Society mode play."
