NASCAR 25 Patch 10 coming out with what I thnk will fill in some gaps.

I just read where the 10th patch is coming out.

We’ve got a good update coming tonight! Here are your patch notes:
    • Added new pitting options for Tire Pressure and Wedge
    • Addressed a rare save file issue
    • Adjusted CUP Career part levels
    • Updated Driver Ratings with data from Racing Insights
I love the new pitting options.
Now if they could add creating us as a driver/car for the Cup series I might could start a championship season.

Is that correct, they're already on Update 10?

Yep, it is indeed number 10. The addition of the pit options with tires fuel and wedge choices of the gamer is a most welcome addition.

Be nice if they would add where you can save mid race.

That isn't going to happen. I thnk the last time that the group that makes this game, their last Nascar racing made a game with a mid race save was back in Nascar 1999. I use to run all my championship races at 100% but I went down to 50% ever since.
What I am finding out is with Nascar 2025, even with racing at 50% you only have 5 or fewer cars on the lead laps. It is differant on the superspeedways but the rest of the tracks if you ran a 100% . the winner might be on the car on the lead lap.

Oh how I would welcome that! I'm doing 25% races in Career mode, with the fuel and tire wear set to a multiplier of 4. I gives me a taste of what I want. In the ARCA races it usually means one pit stop, but they still have to be managed I may eventually go 50% with a 2X multiplier for gas and tires.

They're really churning these updates out, number 11 now released.

1- I am wishfully waiting on the patch where you can be yourself and in a non Nascar Cup roster car to start my season.
2- My second wish is they will have it where can can design our own championship season by what races we want to run. I'll be honest I will take every road course out and replace them with a race where they are only running them 1 time a year. If possible i would love to plug in another track from the other series that they Cup series does not run.

With those two fixes, I will be happy until Nascar 26 comes around.

What I would love to see happen in Nascar 26
1- Edit the drivers ratings. I still think they are way to bland and not really giving you their total strengths or weaknessess. nacar 2003 had it perfect in that aspect.
2- Give us a HUD that shows us who is behind us and ahead of us. This allows us to see if we are behind lapped cars or the leaders are coming up behind us.
3- Give us a toggle switch that gives us either the time of the lap or the MPH of the lap. I personally like see the mPH I ran for that lap. Easier for me to equate if I am slowing down or making the right driving line and speeding up.
4- If they do not implyment the top two I noted for this game, please have it in Nascar 26.

If they could make these changes and make what they beleive more adjustents in the physcis I think we would have a game that surpassed N2003, which I thought would never happen.

So how we feeling for career mode only? This version of nascar worth the pickup ? Or wait till a sale comes? Racing looks solid on track, is career mode enough to keep you engaged? On the track the most important ofcourse just like any sports game, but like career to be fun as you work your way up to Cup.

Wait until the sales come. If anything you will not have to wait for improvements. It’s good now, but what still makes me wonder is, they are releasing the game near the end of their season. Drivers will be changing, and other stuff . I’m sure there will driver changes from the teams. I do hope they release a 2026 DLC for all that but doubt it because it will kill the sales come the next end of the season if they once again decide to release it in Oct, and November at the end of the season for PC.
As far as I know this is the ONLY sports game that brings their game out as the season ends..
I remember Papyrus/Sierra always released the newest edition in early February right before the Daytona 500 which totally makes sense. To me this was one of the major selling points Papyrus/Sierra had. These online sites were already gearing up for their next edition with paint schemes that were release early in January. Zit almost became a cult following to get everything ready for their next edition next game that was going to be released around Daytona week.
it would not really concern me if we could edit those drivers and teams and have their new paint schemes for the upcoming year.
right now, people will stop playing it pretty soon as there is no real NASCAR races or news to keep us interested.
I will get the PC version once I know that I-Racing will allow the online community additive the game with newer cars, tracks and mods. If they do not do that I will just stay with NASCAR 25 and put it on my book shelves to hold some books….oh wait..they didn’t to even give us a disc to do that’s either.

Please for the love of whatever you believe in... fix the performance and frame rate issues on the PS5. It's almost unplayable on some tracks.

And now they're on Update 12. That's three updates three days in a row. Is there anywhere online that documents what each update added?

So I suppose iRacing has a lot of leeway with updates, in that the ability to add things is probably almost unlimited, maybe especially since there is no physical disc. Maybe we will get a driver season update list in February. And if in fact a lot can be added over time, there will be no need to hurry a NASCAR 26 next October, and instead we can get a NASCAR 27 in February 2027. ??

I see no problems with that happening. I would like to see a few more tweaks here and there and YES, an updated roster come February of 26. I really think having the game released in early February would make it more exciting for the user to get it for the upcoming season.
I would have thought they would have released the first edition this February to be honest. Maybe? they wanted time to fix things and then who knows, because of the almighty dollar, we might hear that they will release a new game this February instead of a roster update. Plus, they can add more things for us to have that itch to purchase it. If they could add a HUD that shows the three or four cars in front of you and beh8nd you and what position they are in that is a big plus to me. If the add more pit options as in N2003 another option to consider buying the game. If they included, we can be our own self in a Cu championship and we can make our own 36 race schedule, then I'm game to buy that newer game come this February.
I'm sure the 2026 roster addition with paint jobs will not be a freebie, so that in itself would make a Nascar 26 more valuable with those newer options included.
Somewhere in the group at I-Racing they have a" let's stop" adding to 25 and put it in 26 for purchasing power.
When it's all said and done, it is about the money they can generates per game per year. That's what pay's the people who is designing this game.
