Everything is vulnerable. Don't think MS can't be crippled too.

Yea anything ca be hacked but some companies have better protection tools then others.

MS is good at protecting XB Live as I do not recall them being hacked for a long time or service being down for 3 weeks like it was ON PS3

We will see how far this one goes

I went through the last PSN outage years ago, but had a 360 at the time and decided to dump Sony after that. Years later the new consoles come out and I decided to give Sony another chance because I thought they would have learned from the last time; but obviously they didn't.

To the guy who said this can happen to MS as well. Okay, then why hasn't it in the 8 years I've had my 360?

M$ was down for a week or more about 4 or 5 yrs ago...M$ payed to keep it on the DL

I suggest the first person that somehow spins PSN being down into a PSN vs XBL stability/hack proof debate just save yourself the trouble and don't.

I don't understand why Sony can't protect their servers like MS? They should have learned from that last attack on PSN

They aren't being hacked.

They are going through a DDoS attack. Nothing is vulnerable. It's also been noted as a pretty rampant problem on XBox Live - though to users in particular, not the server.

It's the same thing, basically, that happens to online games when they are released. Too much traffic shuts everything down.

EDIT: disregard, it goes from maintenence to working, then back to under maintenence.

I would love to improve my PS4 bandwidth speed.

I have a speed of 300 mbps down and 20 mbps up. On my xbox 1 I get roughly 290 mbps and the 20 up, but on my PS4 i get 40 down and i forgot the up, but I would love to know how i can improve it on the PS4.

I have a apple airport extreme 5th edition.
