I am not sure 1000 is correct but it will be high and this is labeled by MS as a premium product

So do not expect a premium product to be priced to what XBS is ...

If I had to guess it will be 700 to 800 and if it can deliver 4K 60fps no compromise like Greenberg said the other day then it is worth it easily

If it's much more than $499 it might as well be $1k.

Well if it is 700 and you trade in your slim that is like a 500 console price no?

Or if it is 800 and you trade in the S or some games perhaps you can be getting a console that will do 4K 60fps if their claim is true for 600

No pc will do that for you

Oh, I didn't know that picking one up as soon as they drop means I don't care for it. Glad you cleared that up.

Trade in values will have little to do with the potential success of any console.

And lol, no console can either. remains to be seen how much PC that buys a year from now, but a similar budget shouldn't have a problem equaling or surpassing console performance, almost always does.

Probably better off saving the performance predictions and boasting for closer to release.

I would have trouble paying crazy amounts for Scorpio...

At some point you're actually better off building a PC if these systems are going to be a lot more than 500 bucks.

Either that or it's possible to upgrade video cards and things so they're not too behind the times in 2 years.

You mean Aaron Greenberg? Because am making zero predictions on performance. I said if true WHAT AARON GREENBERG said then it is worth it for 4K 60fps no compromise

It is not hard to understand that I did not make a prediction since I have no idea what the final specs will be. I have doubts like anybody but I am saying what one of the heads of MS just said to Polygon and Endgadget the other day

Will a pc have superior at that time? Of course but if you are a console gamer you have no interest in PC gaming. At the end of the day console gaming keeps online gaming at an even playing field unlike PC

Dude just stop. Stop arguing every post like it's your job, can't we all just enjoy the console/PC options that are given to us.

Some prefer PlayStation, some prefer Xbox, some prefer PC, and some play on all or a combination of two.

Not worth fighting over, let the information come over time, they'll announce it when they are ready.

The facts that unless they tone down the graphics to something equivalent to something lower than "low" settings, you're not going to get a console that comes close to touching running native 4k at near 60fps.

They don't have a magic technology. We already know a ballpark equivalent for what they are using.
