Ironically, that's a possibility, lol. Be kinda hard to hide from the police though.

My rebuttle to that would be, Scarecrow in the comics and cartoons looked like Scarecrow. In Batman Begins he did not have to actually dress up to look like a Scarecrow to be Scarecrow.

Ras Al Goul did not have his Lazerous chamber and they were still able to throw in the idea of a man or "many men" being Ras for several generations.

The suit does not make the man or in this case the Catwoman. My whole point is can they still have Catwoman but not with an over the top cat suit.

If any thing maybe she copies Batman and has the pointy ear thing but not the memory cloth glider and it alone looks like a cat.

Thing is they never said scarecrow was scarecrow... we (here) know it and it was pretty obvious but anyone who doesn't follow doesn't know. If she's going to be a fringe character (kind of like scarecrow in TDK) then it could work but still would be hard to guess without the cat suit. I don't know, maybe there's a plan we can't think of.

Pretty much exactly what I was going to say in response.

Catwoman can't be Catwoman without the suit. The police, the media, Batman, the public...no one would call her Catwoman unless she looked like a Cat, and if she looks like a cat she wouldn't be in Nolan's universe.

Not necessarily. Alls it would take is for someone to refer to her as a cat burgler (maybe a string of high profile heists) then a newspaper could just start running with a catwoman feature once it is confirmed Gotham's cat burglar is a woman. Dress her up in black and maybe give her a mask of some sort (doesn't even have to be one with ears and whiskers) and there you go.

She could be new in town. Have her doing jobs for a new mob , maybe an eccentric anti Bruce Wayne (Oswald Cobblepot,ala the Penguin) and not even use the name Penguin, but have it as a monicker for his companies. Have Penguin use an enforcer(Killer Croc) as well to eliminate partners that aren't willing to do business with him. Killer Croc could be deformed and have the penguin using him him as a side story. Have Croc as a young man that acts like the guy from that story called Of Mice and Men. Have him chasing after Penguin at the end as a ironic side of things. I would have Angelina Jolie for the role because she has never been that over the top actress. She is very versital and already is sexy enough(something the new Batman franchise has been sorely lacking) She could start out being someone that Bruce falls for because she takes his mind off Rachel Dawes. Have her like a dare devil and reckless type, somebody never been seen before like Heath's Joker was..........

Actually an unattractive Catwoman would be more believable and effective and may be the only way to freshen up the Catwoman character in a Nolan movie. Anybody know if Eartha Kitt is still kicking around, she might be in her mid 90's by now but what the hell.

Maybe Im late but this thread has taken on a life of its own at this point. Apparently Robert Downey Jr didnt like Batman and went as far as to say "**** DC Comics". Downey Jr seems to have struggled with the movie and didnt understand it, not sure what was so confusing about the movie but I guess its safe to say he wont be working on any DC movies anytime in the near future.
