Yup. I've been a big fan of his since Even Stevens.

A little more from the interview (the part I didn't see before because there was an advertisement so I didn't realized it continued:

He then added: ''There's no way you get Tom Hanks' career without thinking about this stuff."

LaBeouf even keeps his purchases modest. He drives an everyday Nissan and lives in a two-bedroom house in a typical residential neighborhood.

He's well aware that his current life is what many dream of, but he's also aware that he is in control of his fate.

''My life's got to be flawless," adding that it's "pretty simple when you think about it: Just don't f--- up.''

Hmm seems to me Shia has a solid head on his shoulders. I'm wishing him the best on his career.

Yeah, I used to watch that show as well. I've always liked him, and it's good to see him get into some big movies. He could have a great career in his future.

Well I bought my son his first Transformer today, the $10 Bumblebee.

If he likes it and can do the tranformations fine, then the toy industry will be VERY happy with a customer in southern Illinois!

Speaking of toys, is the $40 Optimus Prime the only one available (has a pull down lever on his chest)? And where o' where an I find Megatron!

I do hate the sliding scale of the toys, you have the vehicles for $10, the fancier ones for $20 (i.e. Starscream), and then $40 for the big daddy Optimus Prime.

                  Oh well!

                    Re: Transformers the movie

I had to mow a couple more lawns to get Megatron or Optimus Prime, they were always the mega toy.

As for Shia, i've liked him since this movie he starred in called The Battle for Shaker Heights with Amy Smart. He's a kid who's a war reactner and i thought he did amazing in that movie. I also like him in The Greatest Game Ever Played. I'll have to check disturbia when it comes out. I think he would kill in long dialouge movies.

I remember my sister used to watch Even Stevens. I thought it was a terrible show. He won me over though for his role in The Greatest Game Ever Played. Certainly he was the only actor who really can't be criticized for his acting in Transformers. He took what they gave him, and ran with it. Perfect casting (along with Cullen as Prime).

Awesome movie. I take it during the credits it was Starscream heading into orbit, setting up T2?

Yeah, they went away from the credits and did two shots of the boy's parents doing an interview with the media of some sorts, then on the third shot, it showed a jet flying into outer space. Then I guess that was it, I left then, when they started scrolling who all did the voice-overs and such.
