Re: TSN Sportscenter question...
Cabbie can be very funny at times....I also get a kick out of the fact that the guy "D" (his sidekick/producer) was a camper of mine many summers ago. First time I saw him on the show I laughed pretty hard.Originally posted by SPTO -
Re: TSN Sportscenter question...
Actually, I use a streaming program on the net. It's very easy to get. *hint**Originally posted by SPTOI did a spit take last summer when I saw David Amber on ESPNEWS. I hope he goes on the fast track to success and lands on the main network.
John Wells was very long in the tooth. He did some of the west coast CFL games last year. I'm thinking he probably retired. Teresa Kruze retired shortly after getting married. I think she hung around for a year or two after getting married but eventually hung it up.
EDIT: so vince you got yourself an illegal signal to get ESPN and stuff now I see. (I surmise this by you posting about watching the Team USA B-ball games and ESPN)Comment

Re: TSN Sportscenter question...
The Score guys are absolutely hilarious.
I like Hedger and Dutch. Everyone else blows (especially O'Toole)
For SNNews, McCormick is a jokeComment

Re: TSN Sportscenter question...
Does anybody know where the Score studios are located? You'd think it'd be in Toronto but theres a building in Hamilton called Score Media and it has the Score logo. The building it is in used to be home to Cogeco.Owner, Spear Interactive

Re: TSN Sportscenter question...
Wikipedia actually says that the headquarters for The Score are on the third floor of the Holiday Inn on King Street here in Toronto. Does anyone know if The Score is still carrying NCAA football games this year? They had some good games last year that I didn't get on ABC, or CBS. Also, someone mentioned Hazel Mae earlier. I read an article in the paper a few months back and apparently she is very popular in Boston where she is an anchor now.Last edited by bad_philanthropy; 08-07-2006, 10:56 PM.Comment

According to rumours, she's very popular with several Red Sox as well.Originally posted by bad_philanthropyWikipedia actually says that the headquarters for The Score are on the third floor of the Holiday Inn on King Street here in Toronto. I wonder if he'd be as clutch in the sack as he is in baseball if Hazel was on the mound.Comment

Re: TSN Sportscenter question...
I tend to watch TSN more than Sportsnet just for the fact that it was the only sports channel while I was growing up. Even though I still am growing up...
The best duo was before Sportsnet and The Score. It was Sportsdesk on TSN w/ a Toronto and Vancouver feed. It was Landsberg and Randorf.
I also used to prefer Blue Jays baseball on TSN. It was Buck Martinez and Shulman. Also kind of funny that Jim Hughson used to work for TSN covering baseball and I think of him now as strictly a hockey guy.
I really wish it were possible for Toth and Campbell to be a team again.Comment

Re: TSN Sportscenter question...
I remember that! It was unique and interesting. I think the only reason why TSN tried doing that was to combat the critics who call it the Toronto Sports Network. Looks like they gave up on the split feed idea and went back to what they know.Originally posted by Kevin926
