    This Cat Is Crunk

We know that people get some weird things done to their teeth from time to time, but we didn't know that they sometimes do the same to their pets. A dentist in Indiana put gold crowns on the lower front teeth of his 1-year old Persian cat, Sebastian. He was worried about the strength of the cat's teeth, given their unusual protrusion, and wanted the crowns primarily to reinforce them. The secondary reason was that "it was a fun thing to do." The crowns cost about $900 each and can be done for any pet, though it's probably a bit kinder to the animal to do it out of medical need and not just to give your kitty some bling.
