I just bought an Xbox360 Wireless adapter yesterday. I hooked it up, and I tried to connect it, and it kept saying disconnected. I called Xbox and the lady said that I needed to buy a router. So last night I went out and bought a router. I was just talking to a co-worker and he said that I dont need to run it through a router because My house is hooked up for wireless ( I have roadrunner) and the signal should be able to be accessed through the cable modem.
