Recently......the hardest/most intense scene I could barely watch was the beginning of saw 3 when donnie whalberg (sp) was smashing and breaking his own ankle. Damn that was brutal.
What's the most intense scene you've ever seen in a movie?

Another one I can think of is in 28 Days Later, when the tire goes flat in the tunnel and they're changing it...then the rats and infected come.
It's crazy.Patrick Mahomes > GodComment

All of the 5 minutes leading up to the curb stomp and arrest in American History X.
Also, the scene in Scarface where Pacino slowly becomes more and more enraged in the car until he shoots the guy with the bomb detonator.
Two more scenes from Scarface that were incredibly intense, the chainsaw scene where he ends up chasing the guy out in the street, and the ending of course.Last edited by Gibbz; 10-23-2007, 09:01 PM.Comment

Speaking of Soprano's, the last scene in the final episode was crazy intense. Between Meadow trying to park her car and the camera switching up to every different person in the restaurant while that Journey song was blaring and you were just waiting for Tony to get shot. That scene took years off of my life.Comment

You're right. I don't know why I didn't think of that one-Madsen's crazy dance leading up to the ear amputation.Comment

thinking back... the scene where Robo Cop dies in human form is pretty intense... at least it was when I was three.... I had nightmares for years afterwards...

Parts from Black Hawk Down. Guy I worked with was there for that ish (he sent his family away when he finally watched the movie 6 months after it was released to DVD because he didn't want them to see what it would do to him.)badComment

Re: What's the most intense scene you've ever seen in a movie?
The scene in Boogie Nights when they are selling the fake coke to speedo/bathrobe guy is intense as hell. The combo of "Sister Christian", an asian dude walking around tossing firecrackers, the bodyguard seemingly about to discover the dope was fake any minute, Marky Mark sweating bullets, and speedo boy playing russian roulette was crazy.
Come to think of it, the donut store robbery scene is pretty damn intense, too.Comment

That scene also has given me my all-time favorite random movie quote. Whenever I hear the beginning of the song "Jesse's Girl" I tell whoever is in the room:
"Ricky Springfield, he's a buddy of mine!" It's usually followed by a blank stare, but it makes me laugh.
Great movie.Good job! Good effort!Comment
