I can't help but think CBS gave Fairplay a nice big pile of cash to show up so they could use him to promote this season. Fairplay's my 2nd favorite Survivor of all-time so I was disappointed to see him ask his tribe to vote him out.

How in the world did Amanda make it as a favorite? From reading around the net, Courtney and Tom turned down the chance to join this season while Yul and Shane Powers were ready to go as backups.

Survivor is still going strong in the ratings. It won its timeslot. At this point, I could easily see Survivor having at least 10 more seasons.

I'm disappointed that Fairplay got voted out first, oh well. I wish Tom didn't turn this down, he was one of my favorite Survivor's and I think he easily played the best game in quite awhile.

I loved Fairplay the first time around but this time he was like a sad pathetic caricature of his former self. So I'm glad he's gone. Now the game can really begin.

Good first episode and I'm looking forward to this week.

Maybe they didn't pick Yul or Todd because they didn't want former winners? I haven't watched every season, so I'm not sure if any of the other favorites won.

It was true, I need to find the link again but we found it in an online paper from Indiana where it announced the birth of his child, so I dont think he was making that up.

THANK YOU!!!!!! That has been bugging the crap out of me. Really cant stand the guy though. Smart move not voting for Mary himself though. Plausible deniability.

Alexis is really the only one of the femal fans that does anythng for me. She's not smokin hot but there is something cute about her.

That was some smash Eric took into the side of that platform. I'm surprised he didn't break a few ribs. Ozzie was smart keeping Eric in the game instead of Amy.

Yeah I thought he'd be going home with broken ribs after seeing that on the previews from the previous show.

And yes Ozzie now has Erik in his back pocket and looks like he's going after Alexis next week. I hope Amanda doesnt get pissy and vote her out. Alexis is hot and we've hardly seen her so far this season.
