I think what cost Amanda was a bad opening speech. She should have pointed out how she outplayed Parvati physically and matched her social game. Amanda won immunity challenges. Parvati did not. Amanda went to Exile island, hunted for and found the idol. Parvati went to Exile Island and tanned on the beach. Who deserves to win?
Amanda's emotions also ruined her in the end. She sort of broke down the last days, but some on the jury thought the crying was bs.

I heard 2nd place gets something like 300,000 so its not like Amanda walked away completely empty handed, unless they have changed this recently. There was no way Amanda was going to beat Parvati, Amanda didnt play anywhere near the same type of game that Parvati did, she may have been social but that social butterfly started and ended with James, Ozzy and Ciree, she didnt come up with any of the plans to blindside anyone, she didnt do anything other then align herself with the right people. On the other hand, Parvati masterminded everything, she got rid of Ozzy, she came up with the numerous ideas to blindside people, and even though they might have been mad at the time, as they say, time heals all wounds. Lastly, again, they never vote for who they might like more, its always who was more masterful in spinning people into getting what they want out of them, its always been that way and always will be.

Runner up originally got 100K. Wouldnt be suprised if its gone up though. They also get paid by the episode which is why people want to be on the jury so badly.


Tina and Vecepia come to mind as people won without really doing anything. They were both carried to the end then got the jury votes because they hadnt done anything to piss anyone off. Vecepia was probably the last truely undeserving person to win. I still wanna puke that those bitches let Chris win Vanautu though.
