The OVA definitely cleared things up, it just felt a little forced. Like the manga writer just wanted to wrap everything up in a nice little happy bow to please the fans.

While the show does have more holes than Spongebob, I can't say that I didn't like it. In fact, I really liked it. I have never cried while watching an anime before, but weirdly enough the last episode got me. I went from liking YunoxYuki to hating it, to really really hating it, to loving it by the end.

I feel like the show could have benefitted from being closer to 50 episodes since everything feels rushed at times.

When I could turn my brain off, I actually enjoyed Future Diary quite a bit. 8.7/10

Well, I decided to start Madoka Magica. Just finished episode 3. Haven't really seen anything that's gotten me too interested so far.

I've heard a lot of positive things about the show, but have never watched it. Amazingly, the same goes for me and Haruhi .

Hmmm....Ep 3 is the first episode where the true nature of the show first starts to show itself (before that is a massive lie...lol), so if you're not feeling it by that point you might want to consider skipping.

It was a good watch for me personally, from that point on. And I hate the Magical Girl genre. This series deconstructs it beautifully.

Yeah I actually mistyped in that instance, as I had only seen the first two episodes

Seen up to the fourth one now, and things are looking a bit better. I guess I'll stick with it, it's only 12 episodes anyway.

I'm having fun going back to older shows I never gave the time of day to, or simply ignored. I'm watching Escaflowne at the moment and am enjoying it. I still remember it being aired on Fox Kids way back in the day, but they cut it to pieces.

It's almost over (last episode of the season, I believe, comes out next Sunday) so I watched what's aired so far of Yamada-kun and the 7 Witches.

Another show I can recommend this season (alongside Shokugeki no Sama and season 2 of My Teen Romantic Comedy SNAFU.) The story is intriguing and the characters are pretty funny. Again it's slice of life/rom-com-ish, but worth watching.

Just bought the entire series of yu yu hakusho and falling in love like the first time I watched it years ago. Highly recommended to anyone who likes action anime. But I came to ask about a show called hunter x hunter. Can someone tell me if its worth watching?

I just finished another watch of that recently as well. My favorite anime ever. So good. In regards to hunter x hunter, it's written by the same guy so I'd say it's worth a watch, although it's not nearly as good.

I haven't watched anime for years but i was wondering if Funimation and Crunchyrolls streaming services would be worth looking into, i used to watch Dragon Ball, Bleach, One Piece, Yu Yu Kausho and a few others what newer anime is worth looking into as well

I subscribe to both, well worth it in my opinion (but I am biased.)

I use Crunchyroll more than I do Funimation, but that's because the app layout on the PS4 is much nicer for CR... even if it's still not the best.

What is the difference with the Anime Membership and All-Access membership on Crunchyroll

If all you want to do is read/watch, just get the Anime membership. The names are leftover from when they were separate.

Here's the comparison of them, though if you want to see what exactly it is.

Doesn't really seem like a big difference unless you care that much about free shipping and contests, are the shows dubbed in english
