I have posted my review of the 2 disc edition of Casino Royale. This movie is excellent and I can't wait for Quantum to release in November.

If you're talking to bigfnjoe96, I think he was always a CRT guy until he finally decided to step up and thin out (but admittedly misses his CRT).

Thanks scott. I still own a CRT. Haven't gone Flat yet. I keep her well maintained hence why the picture looks good & @ 57' I'm not willing to shell out $3,000 for a 58' Plasma.

So true, I still have my CRT 51" and with all my friends who have Plasmas and LCD's I still think my TV has the best picture and they tend to agree. The black levels and natural image is 2nd to none, a good plasma comes close but LCD's just look unnatural and people look plasticky. As long as you had the room the RP-CRT's from several years ago were the best bargains going. I got my 51" Hitachi for $1500 4 years ago while DLP's, Plasma's and LCD's of comparable screen size were going for more than twice that much. Too bad they stopped producing them, I'm gonna miss that picture when my TV craps out.

Co-sign. I still have my 51" phillips RP-CRT and it's been rock solid. Got it on Black Friday in 2005 for $899. My next living room HDTV will be a plasma, but not until this one bites the dust.

Guys, stay far away from a movie called Hell Ride on Blu-ray/DVD. I just reviewed it this past week, even though Tarantino and Bishop worked on the film, it was not that good. It releases next week.

Probably one of the worst Weinstein titles to release in a long time.

For those with kids, Tinker Bell on Blu-ray is amazing. The image quality was very surprising.

                                The Strangers reviewed: 3.5/5.0 Blu-Ray.com

The Strangers is a fine Terror movie, one that makes its point without spraying the camera with blood for 90 minutes. Rather, the film relies on fear of the unknown by placing both its characters and the audience in imminent peril. The film uses sound, visuals, a deliberately slow pace, and a gradual build-up of tension to tell its frightening tale, and the vague nature of the film, and the pure evil put on display, makes The Strangers a fine addition to the Terror film genre. Universal's Blu-ray release of The Strangers features a rather subdued video transfer that appears accurate to the film's intended look and a dynamic soundtrack that greatly adds to the palpable fear of the film. Unfortunately, the studio has skimped on the bonus materials. The Strangers makes for a fine addition to any Terror aficionado's Blu-ray library. Recommended.

I'll be picking this up with Hulk hopefully tonight.
