    Help with HD TV problem

Last march I bought a 42" Magnavox LCD TV from Home Depot, Model # 42MF51D/37. I also bought the extended warranty. The manufacturers warranty was 90 for labor and 1 year for parts. In december the screen goes out. I call the manufacturer and they say we got the parts covered, but you have to pay for labor. I say I have an HD extended warranty will this cover it and they say yes but you have to call Home Depot. I call HD and they say your warranty on the TV is for a year we will not kick in until MArch of 08. Well it took a month to get HD straight so tehy would cover there end of the warranty. It turns out their contract states that the extended warranty kicks in after the manufacturers labor warranty expires. In January I finally got the TV sent to a repair center. I finally get told my TV can't be repaired because Magnavok no longer makes the part they need. I get a call saying I will get a new TV. 2 months later I finally get my TV. It actually is a refurbished unit, or so the research I have done says it is. The model # is 42MF51D/37B. Its contrast ratio is better and so is the brightness.

Well I finally get to sit down and mess with the TV when low and behold there is a burnt in image. You can't tell when the TV is on bright and vivid colors, but when I was watching my DVR'd Jericho I could tell. It looks like when your are watching a projection TV and a hair is on the lens. YOu can tell when the images are darker. The LCD area where this is happening is like it is darker in this area. The image is fixed and doesn't move, but it is annoying. I called Magnavox and they gave me a new claim number and now I have to call the same service center. The Bad thing is the service center is out of Houston and I live 2 hours away. I am really frustrated because of this situation. Any ideas. By the way don't buy a TV from Home depot and don't buy a magnavox. Sorry for my ranting and my bad grammar.
