another episode that sucked me right into the storyline that is the shield. im clueless about next weeks though. i thought for a second dutch was gonna get shot by that kid... what a way that wouldve been to go down

It's getting interesting now. I figured it wasn't Shane's time yet even though the previews hinted at that (they are always a camouflage).

Not sure what happens next. Vic still needs the box to save his badge. I am thinking since the show is ending that he doesn't get his job back anyways, but that subplot along with them trying to off Shane is very juicy.

I was a little bummed when Vic decided to call Shane, although his warning didn't help anyways. Maybe everything is starting to weigh Vic down so he didn't want to live with it, like they all have to live with what happened to Lem. Can't wait until next week.

Pick up?? Does anyone think this season the show is off? I don't know what you guys are watching but IMO this season has been stellar and exceeded my sky-high expectations so far with all the roller coaster turns I didn't see coming and very complex skin-of-the-teeth maneuvering by Vic and Shane. Honestly this looks like it's heading toward a rip roaring finale!!!!

I'm a big fan myself, but Shane needs to get his in the next couple of episodes. I don't like Vic's apparent ambivalence about killing Shane, because it is coming out of caring about him. I can understand his hesitancy if Shane has documents that will come forward upon Shane's death.

I'm a big fan myself, but Shane needs to get his in the next couple of episodes. I don't like Vic's apparent ambivalence about killing Shane, because it is coming out of caring about him. I can understand his hesitancy if Shane has documents that will come forward upon Shane's death.

I thought Shane gave Vic what he had on him already?

I think even though it was Shane that killed Lem, that now deep inside Vic feels like he is someway responsible for the way Shane turned out. So its making it very difficult for him to kill Shane.

I would say that that is what they're getting at. That's why Vic changed his tune about his involvement with his son with Dani. His attitude may change to something more explosive when Dani runs away, though...

The only reason I was using spoiler tags was incase someone was trying to catch up on what happened, or hadn't watched this weeks episode yet.

In general I think it's a good idea, but that's just me. I could I suppose put the word Spoiler into the thread name, but that's up to you guys.

Now to my thoughts:

I think Vic is going to go completely off his rocker when he finds out Dani left, and when Shanes attempt to kill him fails. Just my idea though. I think they will be killing Vic off at the end of the year, but I don't see it coming next week.
