Call me an ******* if you want, call me a nerd for posting on a video game board, or "rub it in my face" that this kid is being creative and could one day be an engineer or some ****...

but what he's doing is ****ing stupid, and i feel like more of a loser for just watching him do that ****.

I think its pretty normal for a kid taht age to do this kind of stuff. With all of the advances in the world, its just like some of us playing GI Joes or War in our backyard, big whoop

Yeah...I ran around with underwear on my head when I was 5, but I didn't put it on video and give it to the world...Just sayin'.

I think it's cool, just makes me personally realize that while I'm geeky/nerdy/whatever I'm really not this geeky/nerdy. Glad he's having fun though, but if he seriously thought other people would do something different than laugh at his videos he needs to get a clue.

It's not. My brother is a 12 year old autistic kid who's obsessed with Zelda and he isn't close to this geeky. The kid in the video is probably between 10 and 13. It's not normal to do that in middle school.

I don't mean cardboard specifically. I'm just saying, if at this age he can do this well with just cardboard, by the time he's a bit older, he might have a knack for this kind of stuff with w/e fashion or technology is available.

he can haz recon. Seriously though, if I were bungie, I'd give him recon armor. It pretty obvious the kid is a monster fan.

The You Tube clowns treated this kid nicer than I would have expected in their commentary.

I think it's impressive. Kudos to him for being creative and taking initiative instead of sitting around on his *** watching cartoons and getting a jump start on being overweight.

If I had to predict, I suspect this kid will do pretty well in life. Taking initiative like that and showing the ability to create at such a young age are likely traits that will benefit him throughout life.

Good points...I'm just hoping he has/develops social skills. We know nothing about him other than this video, but he could be awesome as an adult or just hide in his parents basement at 30 still making Halo weapons (it happens, it's kinda scary).
