Questions about purchasing Microsoft Office 2007

    Hey guys,

I recently purchased a computer that has Windows Vista and as such, I would like to upgrade my Microsoft Office from XP (which I got at a really low price while in undergrad) to 2007 (Standard or better... the only programs I want or need are Outlook, Word, Excel, and Power Point).

I am finding some places that are selling Academic versions of Office '07 for much cheaper than the regular versions you would buy in stores or at Microsoft's website. I guess my question is, what's the difference between the academic and non-academic versions. Is it just the price? Are the licenses different? If I buy a "for academic use only" version, can I install it on as many computers as I like, and is there an expiration date to the license (i.e. will it just work for a few years and then I'll have to renew the license?).

Any answers you guys can provide me with would be great.

    Thanks!
Working...
