One of my favorite movies - which I somehow always forget about when people ask me for my favorites - was added in John Q.

Right now we have the 3 dvd @ time plan & will will be dropping to 2 dvd @ time plan. Bad enough they charge you an extra 4 dollars a month for Blu Ray
Right now there are little to no new release DVD's I am wanting to see, but my Instant Q is backed up. So I am going to switch to the new streaming only plan for a while.

Exit Through The Gift Shop is available now. Lots of buzz about it when it was in a theatre. Heard nothing but good things.

Great movie. It's one of those movies that makes you question "the system" and how unfair it can be. Any movie like that makes you think and gets your emotions rolling is a good one. I've always felt that if my son was in that type of situation, I'd do the same thing and wouldn't care what would happen to me.

I'm going to watch this with the wife tomorrow, I think.

They really need to add more recent releases.......Too much of their instant stream consists of old movies that is more then 2 years old...... : (

I really wish they make a deal with HBO.......I would love to see their tv shows in instant stream.

Only problem is now, Blockbuster had a deal now with the motion picture industry, so their version of red box and netflix etc get the movies right away, and now it is so red box and netflix are delayed.

Damn exclusives even effect movie rentals.

                    Not anymore:

The few of us who still watch live television know the commercials well. People in the airport, at a restaurant and in dentist's office, all being told they need to wait 28 days. "Why wait 28 days for new releases? Blockbuster has hot new releases ... 28 days before Netflix and Redbox." Or so they…

It's not great news. Basically, Netflix wanted to lower costs, so now everyone can't afford to have the DVDs/Blu Rays when they first come out, so now everyone has to wait 28 days. Thanks Netflix! (You suck!)

So you mean, every rental service has to wait?

                          Can you please explain...

In store Blockbusters should have all the movies on release day as usual (though, I didn't know people still used BB - all of them went out of business here), but any shipping rental service, like Red Box, Netflix, Blockbuster's Mail service, etc. will have to wait.

I believe that is how it works.

I see ... I did not read the article fully.

That stinks I guess. I thought they did not have the right anymore, so all got them on release day. Now I see only the stores do, and all online or box services is 28 days later (good movie BTW).

                              Bleh!
