Saw this with my buddy today. Very enjoyable. A lot better than I thought it would be. Tons of laugh out loud moments in this. Definitely check it out.

I like this movie a lot, a good mix of comedy/horror...this movie always gives me a good laugh.

            Invasion of the Astro-Monster (1965)

The beginning of Godzilla's infamous "Earth's Protector" phase starts off with this very Sci-Fi heavy flick. Not bad as a Godzilla film but not the greatest from a critical perspective other than the allegorical aspect regarding the aliens.

The Purge: I really liked the idea when I first seen the trailer, but after watching it I found out this movie is nothing special. Usually I like Ethan Hawke but I didn't really like him in this movie not that he was bad or anything. Maybe it's his character...This movie is not that bad as some people say it is but also not too good. 6.5/10

V/H/S: This is an anthology of horror films. If you hate movies that is shot in 1st person view like Paranormal Activity or The Blair Witch Project than this film isn't for you. Personally I think this is better than those movies I mentioned and after Rec 1 & 2 this is my favorite first person movie. The reason why I like it is because unlike Paranormal Activity or The Blair Witch Project in those movies the buildup takes forever. Instead with V/H/S its multiple films that didn't drag on for too long. I really enjoyed this film 8.5/10

Though, part of it is since I know him, his roles, and how different he was in this from how he normally is, I thought it was pretty stunning. Plus, I love Jim Carrey.

That's partly why Nicolas Cage was so great in the first film, but he got considerably more screen time, and as I said, Cage stole more scenes he was in for sure. Carrey didn't get enough "me" time to separate himself from some of the others in his scenes. I almost wish he did.

I think he has more diversity than his offered roles allow for him to show, so maybe that's what he meant. There's just not enough of him, though. I'm willing to bet an extended cut exists out there somewhere that we'll see with more Carrey, though.

This was good dumb fun. Better than expected. The suprise cameo scene was really funny. I knew who it was from the silhouette when the door opened.

Agree with the others that saw We're the Millers. I'm a big fan of Jason Sudeikis and Jennifer Aniston. They were great in their individual roles in Horrible Bosses, and even better together in this movie.

This has been a very solid year for comedies with This is the End, We're the Millers, The Heat, and others I'm sure I'm forgetting.

Just finished Oblivion. I liked it and thought it was a good movie. 8/10

I got a bunch of movies I want to watch, but I think will go next with Kick *** 2. I thought the first was good so hopefully this one is as well.

Going through all the X-Men movies again. While it's still not a fantastic movie, after watching Last Stand for the first time in probably 5 years, it's not quite as bad as I remember.
