Yeah, it was a pretty good episode.

I don't watch much TV at all, but I don't seem to want to miss this show

Didn't think this last episode was so great. Definitely expected better. It didn't make sense for a guy with three months left on a 15 year sentence to risk it on the chance of finding $180,000. Then we find out the money wasn't the main motivation. Below ordinary.

I felt like the second one wasn't great, but it was still pretty good (if that makes sense), but I think my brain is trying to compare it to the first episode, which will be tough to top right now.

Yep... Hard to compare the 2 but I still found the second episode good.

Same here. I can already tell this is gonna be one of my favorite shows. Plus, Timothy Olyphant is a bad***, so he fits the part perfectly.

This is good, but they did seem to roll the dice high on the 1st ep. 2nd was average. I do have to admit that it's possibly the only time I'll hear (or listen to) "country rap"!

From what I've read the show doesn't get really serialized until the last 4 episodes.

Yeah, I think that has to with Goggins back and forth "double duty" on this show and the Predator Movie. He's not going to be in every episode so they probably are getting both guys together for the final four eps. What may be surprising is that an FX spokesman confirmed that if Justified is picked up for Season 2 Googins will be a series regular.

It was kind of a "slow" episode.

I saw the previews from next week, it looks like it could be very very entertaining.

Didn't like the easy dismissal of the most interesting "guest"character. The sexual tension dance between Marshall and the Babe has not interested me, because I don't see the tension. Entirely too much screen time has been devoted to the two, or it may just seem like it. Two episodes in a row that seem off, poorly written, and all over the place.

Hmmm.... just watched the 3rd episode. Wheels are already starting to come off the wagon (pun slightly intended).

Yeah, just reread my post and realized how much I failed to express how much I disliked this last episode. It's like they're trying to rein in the violence at given points (letting the escaped con easily shake off a bullet wound to the stomach two episodes back, softening up the black guy who can't hurt the snitch because "he's been too good to me), and then wrap it up with the Marshall shooting somebody. Still early, but Justified is making me yearn for a real Western with a real gunfighter.

This show is whack.......thought it would be good but now it is slowly but surely going off the cliff and dying. This will be pulled off the air before May. The main character just has a boring appeal to him, he always has, which is why Deadwood ended so quickly. He couldnt carry a show if his life depended on it.
