    Customizing Webpage Shortcuts

I know there are a lot of Firefox users here, so I guess this is for the IE guys primarily. Webpage shortcuts on your desktop can't be changed to the icon of your choice by ordinary means. You're typically stuck with the big blue E on a white page. I came across this solution for anyone who is interested in setting up customized icons for webpage shortcuts:

Create a new desktop shortcut (not an IE shortcut) -- rt click on desktop, click New, click Shortcut

    For the target, enter "C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe" http://www.thesitenameyouaresettingup.com

Change the icon as you normally would.
