Holy ****. Can't wait... that little preview gave me like 15 sets of chills because I love this kind of thing so much. I almost want to buy a new TV so I can watch this in 1080p haha.

Yeah for some reason its been on the quiet side, but March is right around the corner.

I got Planet Earth on sale at Best Buy one day for 49.99 on blu ray.

Looking forward to this one on Discovery Channel, then to buy it when it releases as well.

I hope there's more lions vs. whomever scenes. They cut out of the Lions fighting/eating that elephant way too fast in Planet Earth. I wanted to see more.

To people mad about Oprah -- why? She has a nice low and calm voice for this sort of thing... it was Sigourney Weaver last time, is it really a downgrade?

That said, Attenborough's voice for the win.

I avoided the American version just because of SW's voice.

I'd almost prefer SW over Oprah. Hell, you can do the voice over. But Oprah... ugh.

Sweet, I showed the first one to my class and I have Discovery videos through my school district, so I have them streaming from the computer to the classroom TV. It is really cool. They love the Jeff Corwin Videos. And really does make teaching fun, because I can do direct instruction teaching for the first 20 minutes and then a video for the other 20 minutes. Then wrap it up with an assessment.
