Re: Dexter (Season 6)
Yeah I just finished my marathon of watching all 4 seasons on DVD last night. I was trying to delay watching the last episode of s4 until the day before s5 came out but couldn't help myself, lol. The last scene of that season still freezes me up a little and gives me chills.
I actually kinda agree about s3. I never thought it was terrible but it was a little better than I remembered it being. s2 on the otherhand wasn't as good to me, but that might have been because the Bay Harbor Butcher story loses it's luster when you already know the outcome.
I've also been reading the first 2 books as well. I'm surprised at how different the first book was just in terms of certain events and even the dialogue and Dexter are a little different than what you expect from the show. The 2nd book so far seems to fall in line a little more with the show when it comes to the last 2 things IMO.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Its not too thin and not too thick. Re: Dexter (Season 6)
Hey guys, I've read a TON on serial killers and it's amazing how great this show models the real deal. For a while I was worried Dexter was going to start to "feel" as the show seemed headed in that direction but thankfully it appears that's not the case. As anyone who has followed serial killers should know a personality like Dexters cannot just magically one day start feeling emotions, empathy, etc.

Re: Dexter (Season 6)
A couple interviews about the season (nothing too notable, but figured I'd post them):
Michael C. Hall on Dexter's Spiritual Season 6
Will This Be The Darkest Season of Dexter Yet?
I'm excited for this season. The only thing I'm worried about is I think they could either have a really good season on their hands or they could fall flat on their faces with the whole religious theme and all of that. I don't think there will be an in-between. At the same time though, it'll be nice to see Dexter go back to just straight up embracing his Dark Passenger again like Season 1.Last edited by BlueNGold; 08-12-2011, 04:19 AM.Originally posted by bradtxmaleI like 6 inches. Re: Dexter (Season 6)
And Aimee Garcia is from Chicago. Go figure.
Also, can Colin Hanks have more of his father's mannerisms? Goodness."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied. And that those who receive and act out the gift of athletic genius must, perforce, be blind and dumb about it -- and not because blindness and dumbness are the price of the gift, but because they are its essence." - David Foster Wallace

That's my brother's birthday. I'm sure he'd understand why I'm not out partying with him."It may well be that we spectators, who are not divinely gifted as athletes, are the only ones able to truly see, articulate and animate the experience of the gift we are denied.
