I think that was actually the girl Travis released earlier this season, the girl originally supposed to be the whore of Babylon (may be wrong though didn't pay a ton of attention but that's who it looked like to me).

Could definitely be wrong though.

Good point, CF.

My theory on the hand? Intern turns out to be a some sort of killer (yes, another one) that either killed the blond girl and took it or they're both some sick couple involved in a strange way.

I think the thing with the hot blond changed once they were renewed for following seasons. They planted the seed for another story.

Knowing there is another season always makes me less interested in the current one. I need to just block my computer from loading any page with the word "Dexter" attached to it so I am shocked one way or the other if Dexter is alive and free at the end of each season.

While I love having Edward James Olmos be an imaginary character all along I don't think the show pulled it off accurately or honestly in how it wrote the character this season..

I mean look at that scene near the end there where Dexter and Hanks saw Edward James Olmos going up to the college after that professor. Is Dexter in on a mass hallucination or what? How the hell do you explain that scene now that we know the guy is dead???

I don't think Dexter was looking. I remember when Hanks saw him Dexter was looking up at the time while they were waiting in the car.

Dexter never saw him. He just followed Travis blindly. And during the time Dexter was stuck in the elevator, Travis was doing his deed.
