Anything is better than S3. They could show Dexter taking a dump and I'd be more interested.

no way Wall, S3 is brilliant in comparison to this Season.

And if they showed Dexter taking a dump, I'm sure it will be that there's no TP, but then Dexter remembers he bought a roll and has it in his left sock.

Agreed as well. I never really got the hate for Season 3, sure it's not as good as 1 or 2 but I liked it quite a bit.

Well if you want to get technical with it, the fact that no one in Miami has a alarm system or even a deadbolt in 6 seasons is pretty ridiculous....and there's countless more examples. Things have "just went" Dexters way for a LONG time now. I get that he's been a lot more sloppy as of late, but some of these critiques are forced.

Someone pointed out that there "just happened" to be a door for Dex to push Ms Wormwood in.... Ugh....It's a police station, plus they were going INTO room to talk. Come on man, lol

Like I said, there not a thread in the Ent forum where at least someone feels the show isnt as good as the original seasons....that's natural..

I personally can't wait until the finale, I just know they BETTER NOT kill Harrison..

Don't get me wrong because I'm completely convinced that the writers this year were on some hallucinatory drungs when writing this season, but in a misguided attempt to give them some credit, I am also 90% sure that Deb will die in Sunday's final episode. (I called the kidnapping of Harrison and the babysitter about 10 pages back so I'll see if my streak can continue)

With this idiotic incest angle they have completely compromised the Deb character which would be thier ******** attempt to foreshadow the "real shocking twist" of this season. If Deb doesn't die then her relationship with Dexter will be made completely awkward assuming they don't do the incredibly ridiculous and have Dexter reciprocate Deb's incestuous urges. It's gonna be cringe worthy to watch Deb be close to Dexter and not thinking that she wants to bone him the next 2 seasons. They have gone past the point of no return with Deb's character now.

She has had almost as much face time as Dexter this year (and has yet to unpack her things in her new office, another foreshadowing hint?) and since the show seems to be resorting to shock television then that's the only logical direction they could go with the stupid incest thing. She will probably save Harrision at the end and get critically wounded doing it and then have one last heartfelt goodby to Dexter and how much he meant to her before she dies. Then the guilt of Dexter indirectly causing her to die will start him on a downward spiral to getting caught the last 2 seasons.

It's the only thing they could do that would make any sense of this season. It is time for her to go as they have made her too annoying anyways and it's the only thing that will inject some life into the series.

^ I don't think they will take it that far. Killing off Deb, especially if she never knows the truth about Dexter, would be way too stupid. Deb finding out about Dexter has been the point the entire series has been building to.

Although, with the way this season has gone, I wouldn't be surprised at all if they **** us all over with that.

Holy ****.....that would be amazing. And sad. But wow, I almost kind of hope you're right on that one.

As for the Harrison thing, it's not gonna happen. Kids don't get killed on TV. It's just something you don't do. Plus, I can already tell you without seeing the episode that the end will involve Dexter taking Harrison to his school play or whatever (they mentioned it in last week's episode) and having his moment of reflection on the season, just like last season and Harrison's birthday party.

I think they could do both. I don't know how they'd arrange that all into one event, but I think it could be pulled off. I don't think she'll get killed off though. Hell, I'm not even sure if they are going to have her find out about Dexter this season.

Also, I just thought of something while I was typing this. Remember when Deb had her little woozy moment in the church two episodes ago? They still haven't explained what that was all about. Maybe that could be their way of blowing off the BS love angle. Here's hoping I'm right on that, because I'm not sure I want to see this taken any further.

Why would it be so important for her to find out about Dexter? Rita never did and we all thought back then that it's inevitable she finds out. They have ample opportunities for Deb to find out and just teased us. And if they wanted a shocker for the Dex\Deb relationship don't you think that instead of incest they would have had her find out this season? You can't introduce a completely perverted element into the show with incest that completely affects the 2 main charcters and not have one of the characters die so it gives them a reason not to pursue it.

You would have to be pretty warped as a viewer to get any enjoyment or interest out of a Dex\Deb incest relationship. These are the 2 main characters, you can't make it awkward like that for viewers because the majority will be creeped out and then they don't watch. Watching that dream was the only time I ever watched this show and had to turn my head. It was beyond creepy and I felt grossed out just watching it. I'm sure it was the same for alot of viewers. It was disturbing and not in a good way.

Then what was the point of it at all? It came out of nowhere and I'm sure they could have found other ways to fill the hour. It served no purpose except it makes the 2 main characters relationship awkward from here on in. That's a pretty dramatic throwaway side story without having lasting effects on the Deb character.

Like I said I'm trying to give the writers some credit that they wouldn't so haphazard and foolish to plant this seed in viewer's minds unless they were planning to kill the character. If she lives can you honestly say that it won't be in the back of your mind everytime Deb is alone with Dexter in a scene thinking she's gonna try and make out with him at any moment? It's just too creepy a subplot to introduce and then pretend it never happened like they do with all the other stuff.

It was more than just a dream. You could tell the way Deb was trying to deny it when the therapist insinuated it, and then you add in her reaction after she had the dream.

And if it were to die down soon, what's the point of even exploring it? I hope it does go away, but I guess we'll see.
