Re: Game of Thrones Season 3 (aka A Storm of Swords)
Real question though. Who/why records themselves watching TV?
Also, I wonder how much rating will drop for episode 10 and/or season 4.Last edited by N51_rob; 06-03-2013, 05:12 PM.Moderator

Re: Game of Thrones Season 3 (aka A Storm of Swords)
I would guess people that have read the book.
Also, I would expect Ep10 & S4 to get as many ratings if not more.
I know I want to see if there will be revenge and who ends up with the throne.Comment

Re: Game of Thrones Season 3 (aka A Storm of Swords)
So I saw so many statuses and tweets last night that something crazy happened, but managed to avoid finding out what it was before I watched it today. Still wasn't even close to prepared for that. Re: Game of Thrones Season 3 (aka A Storm of Swords)
I really can't understand why some people would stop watching this show because of what happened. Are people satisfied with having the main plot of the show playing out with Robb Stark avenging his father's death, giving the Lannister's what they deserve and finding redemption as he wins the game of thrones? Sounds like a plot from a generic action movie. GOT is so much more than that, there is so many other characters and plots that are more interesting than the overused revenge theme.
I was somewhat shocked at what happened but suspected something was gonna turn ugly at the wedding, didn't expect it to be that large scale but to be honest I found Robb Stark, Catelyn Stark etc.....to be rather dull characters and that storyline didn't grip me like some of the others so if someone had to go then I think they were a good choice rather than someone like Joffrey who may be despicable but makes the show more interesting to watch than Robb Stark.Last edited by Seymour Scagnetti; 06-03-2013, 08:28 PM.Comment

Re: Game of Thrones Season 3 (aka A Storm of Swords)
while i had no idea this was how it was going to happen, i knew someone big was going down. my gf showed me a status of someone saying something real cryptic about his phone dying at the end of the episode. that made it all too obvious, so all i had to do was pick out the character most people would be rooting for and wait for the end.Comment

I agree with your views and was equally shocked as a non book reader!!If you havent seen Episode 9, dont read my spoiler!
SpoilerI have never read the book so I have no idea what is supposed to happen next from week to week.
That being said, when Talisa told Rob she was pregnant, it was obvious that one of them would die and never see that child. I figured it would be Rob in battle or Talisa as a spoil of battle.
I didnt however, ever expect it to be a double cross like that and I certainly didnt expect Catelyn Stark to be a part of it.
Im waiting til the end of the season so I can go back and binge watch all 3 seasons so I can fill in all the blanks and put the entire story together.
My prediction is that Calisi is going to reign supreme.Comment
