Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)

They can go so many directions with next half of this season. Rick and Daryl still never were able to tell Tyrese what happened with Karen & Carol. Seems unimportant now but that was THE plot point for a minute there.

Shout out to the little kid army!

Wonder where the bus with Glen went. I have a feeling he's gonna be the one to round everyone up, or attempt to, next half of the season.

      RIP to the tank.

What happened to the one lesbian (i think) ex-military girl. I know she was cowering not trying to fight, can't recall if she got killed or not. Ugh, those people were so stupid. Peace & love maaaaan. They could've had a real society going at the prison.

For some reason, I knew Governor was gonna kill Hershel before even his most bitter enemy in Michonne. Hershel's memory will live on so much stronger. Michonne is a straight up ninja, but there's something to say for Hershel's wisdom and humanity. I wasn't a big fan but he'll have a lasting impact.

Once again, the coldest killers shined: Michonne and Carl. That katana is soooo devastating. I thought Carl was gonna pick off the Governor during the standoff but no dice.

Rick is 100% bitchmade. Governor was just dominating him, thought he was gonna give him the full business like he did with the zombies in the pit a few episodes back. I wouldn't have even minded at that point, Rick is a scrub in my eyes. I really think they're creeping to a coup de teat when Rick's weakness shows to everyone.

Wow Maggie is a fox with a sexy accent on Talking Dead. Got so much hotter when I heard her speak. Haha

Judith probably isn't dead even though it appeared she was. I think it was meant to be a big trick and don't even question it. She'll turn up, no doubt in my mind. She probably survives the whole series.

Why did they leave the prison, though? Governor is dead, tank is destroyed, I guess that militia is sunk. I know they're spread out now, and not everyone knows what everyone else has done and is doing, but they should come back and rebuild. It was the best, most logical spot they've had.

Yeah that episode was edge of your seat stuff. Didn't disappoint at all. I, too, question if Lilly did in fact kill the governor. I really hope so on one hand because he's a jerk, but on the other he is portrayed so well.

I think you're mixing them up. The girl your talking about wasn't ex-military, she was just the little sister of the governor's girlfriend, though she acted like she was. She got dazed and stumbled off when Daryl chucked the grenade.

The ex-military chick is the one that she had the hots for, and she was shot in the head by Lizzie or whatever that little girl's name is. The child army definitely blew my mind.

So right now you've got Carl helping Rick limp off into the woods.

Tyreese going back in to find the child army after Beth said she couldn't find them. Is the girl he likes with him?

        Who's Daryl with?

Maggie and Beth are together doing something.

Glenn's on the bus with mostly randoms. Who else is where? I'm definitely gonna be re-watching this one soon.

Andrew Lincoln's character Rick on how he is portrayed just annoys me more and more with each passing season. Do you guys think they would have the balls to kill him off and move forward with someone else as the leader? He has become so uncertain of himself as a leader that it makes you nervous watching him lead these people.
Sorry, yes, you're right, I meant his sister. Wasn't sure of how they were related.

Couldn't agree more about Andrew Lincoln. I think he's a very poor actor.
I simply cannot stomach his style. The way he's a close talker and has to constantly **** his head on a slight angle as he shuffles in closer and closer.
Or the way he holds his gun up super high and then points it down at an angle.
I'm pretty sure police aren't supposed to aim that way.

I also agree that the character is always cracking. Every season he goes through issues and turns into a whiney, insecure little biotch.
I would love for them to bring in a leader who has a brass pair, never doubts himself, while also has a level of goodness and dignity to him.
I'd be all for Tyrese taking that role and having Rick killed off in a horribly, painful and embarrassing nature.
And hopefully Cawl goes with him too.

Was anyone else thinking during the fight that Beth is the last person I want holding a gun? She is way too soft. She even stopped mid-shootout, threw her gun down, STAYED STANDING, and cried on the fence.

For some reason I thought there was a scene where they both described their military background. But yeah, the potential survivor girl wasn't acting very military-like. The actual military women had Tyrese pinned down dead to rights before The Little Army (can we call them that now? Please?) rolled up with Carl-like accuracy.

Beth without a gun: Well, yeah. That's why she's basically the baby sitter. But her pops just got beheaded and it was all hands on deck as it was.

I don't expect her to be holding a gun anytime soon. Then again, maybe that was a good trial by fire.

@Money99: why no love for Carl? He seems to be what you want Rick to be, but just a kid and being held back by his father. I think we all loathed Carl until last season when he finally said screw this and started mowing down baddies. Rick still held him down until finally they had their nice kill fest on the walkers that broke down the fence. I think him surviving and essentially rescuing Rick is the icing on the cake. Carl's a badass and will only continue to be so. I see him as a younger Daryl. I think he's due for a rash, youthful decision though. Which will probably make us all hate him again! Lol

Finally watch the mid season finale. That was great television right there. Talk about an emotional roller coaster....

The sense of sadness & excitement I felt this episode was awesome.

                          To correct you....

Tyreese is with Lizzie and the Child Army (and possibly Judith)
                          Daryl is with Beth.
Maggie is with a wounded Medic Bob and Sasha (Tyreese's sister).

I'm not the smartest man, but how is it possible to keep a tank running with limited supply of gas? I would think that it's not the most efficient vehicle in gas consumption.

And does anyone else think this may be the same tank that was in the first 2 episodes when Rick went inside to survive the horde?

I don't know if I can put a finger on one specific reason why I dislike Carl.
The way he has been able to head-shot everyone like he's a SWAT member (not his fault, poor writing maybe?)
The way he walks around like his poop doesn't stink.
                              He's a little tattle tale.
He just doesn't seem to have much of a personality. He comes across more Columbine than John Wayne to me.
But don't get me wrong, I definitely like him better than Rick -who really can't be killed-off fast enough for my liking.

Doubt it. The guys with the tank were military. They likely took it when they left their base.
