Re: The Walking Dead (Season 4)

So Glenn's a tough guy now lol zombies look like monsters I'm not liking how this season is going. I been watching since day one and I love the early seasons but I'm just starting to lose interest. I didn't read the comics so I can't compare the two but I agree about the lost feelings of the zombies. The series is no longer scary in my opinion and just to much nonsense and plotholes, Glenn doing the madden break tackle on the horde of zombies and now his attitude today has just killed me. The set up of the show is good but it just leaves me yearning more and I'm left disappointed.

I've never been a fan of those "there's someone else in the house" scenarios with multiple "nearly discovered" situations. Just seems so unrealistic.

        Meh episode for me.

Same. You're telling me no one heard the fight to the death going on in the bathroom just down the hall/upstairs? Especially with everything being knocked over and them slamming into the wall.

          Really didn't like this one

I thought tonight's episode was a bit of a flop too, but at least it looks like Rick and Carl may meet Judith next week.

I already despise this Eugene guy. He's incompetent and anyone who tells people to listen because they're smarter than someone else usually isn't.

I dont think Rick will be reunited with Judith next week. I see that towards the end of the season. My biggest question is will they make it to Washington by the end of this season or will it carry over?

Thank god someone kicked Glen's ***!! He needed that

My body must've known this episode was gonna be a dud because I slept right through it. Lol

                  I'll catch it tonight.

This half of the season has started off slow. I know we're building up towards the next conflict though, but the Governor episodes and prison collapse episode were so strong.

Yeah, I think that is part of the issue.

That episode before the break felt like the conclusion of a season, so jumping back in midway and starting a new story arc is making for a slow transition.

I feel like this episode was better than the previous two, but I am also in the boat of the improbable house escape feeling rather far fetched.

While I agree, the house escape was highly ridiculous, it was needed to an extent. It was Rick finally waking back up. I'm thinking that that fight might be the turning point for his character. We've all hated watching him go from a certified ***-kicker to a lame duck. Something needed to be done for his character, and I think that situation was it.

In my opinion it's just going down a path to cancellation. It's just not interesting to me anymore, the plots are shallow and it's not about the zombies anymore, they keep separating the zombies from the show. It's no longer scary, it's just evolved to a drama now, these are just my opinions, others I'm sure feel different.

I'll admit that last week when we really got introduced to the new characters, I really didn't care about them or getting to know them.

I get what you mean but if all they do is have zombies, everyone would get so tired of that.

Then again, there haven't been a whole lot of the scary/close to death because of zombies moments like the first couple of seasons, but the newness has rubbed off.
