Been listening to A Skylit Drive a lot recently. I didn't find out until yesterday that their lead vocalist is actually a man. I mean, he looks like a girl, sounds like a girl, but is a man.

But it makes for some good music. The high pitched vocals offset the screaming pretty well, and they don't go too overboard with the screaming either. Screamo gets me pumped, but only when it's in spurts and not the whole song and not overdone. A Skylit Drive fit the bill perfectly in this regard.

They have a new album dropping in June and the two songs I've heard off it (on their MySpace and Purevolume pages) sound really good.

Thickfreakness and Rubbery Factory are two of my favorite modern rock albums - great garage blues sound.

Since you're digging The Black Keys, I recommend checking out Dan Auerbach's (guitarist/singer for BK) solo album, its my favorite album of the year thus far.

Anthony Green (lead of Circa, formerly of Saosin) is the highest I've heard. But the man is a genius. Most everything he touches is gold.

I've got "Blackholes and Revelations" and "Absolution", and now I can't find where I put them.

"Knights of Cydonia" is a song I can listen to over and over and over.

Since I listened to Saosin with Cove Reber leading before I heard any of the stuff that Anthony Green did with them, I can appreciate both. I know Cove gets a ton of heat for not being Anthony Green, but he's definitely good in his own right. I'd take the Saosin with Green over the Saosin with Reber (and not just for their voice, the sound was a lot different), but that's not saying Saosin with Reber is bad at all. I rocked their self titled album for an extremely long time. Every song off of it is quality.

Plus, Green leaving Saosin created Circa Survive. So now we get two quality bands instead of just one.
